Story
Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 3-5 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention and can be ok with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He has been exposed to cats and will leave them alone. He is not recommended for homes with small children because he can be protective of his food, treats, and people. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy once he warms up to his person / people. It will take time for him to adjust in his new home so his new people need to be patient and loving. If you are looking for an only dog to be your bestest snuggle buddy, please submit an application at forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and any potential adopter must meet him here.

Story
Meet Chili – Your Adventure Buddy & Cuddle Queen! Chili is a 7-month-old spayed female Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) with a heart as big as her energy level! This sweet and spunky girl is up-to-date on all vaccines, on flea/tick prevention, and has received a 12-month ProHeart injection, so she’s ready to go wherever life takes her. Chili is the perfect mix of outdoor explorer and indoor snuggler. She loves hiking, swimming, and romping around in the yard—but she’s just as happy curling up with her people at the end of a fun-filled day. Chili gets along great with other dogs and is friendly with everyone she meets. She’s okay with cats too, though her herding instincts may kick in if they run (classic Cattle Dog behavior!). Like most heelers, Chili can be a bit mouthy during play, but it’s all in fun—she doesn’t bite. She would thrive with an active family who enjoys outdoor activities, or in a home with a fenced yard where she can play to her heart’s content. She’s also fantastic off-leash on hikes and sticks close to her people like the loyal companion she is. Chili is a smart, affectionate, and playful pup who’s looking for a family to love and adventure with. If you’re ready for a life of fun, loyalty, and sweet snuggles—Chili is your girl! Story
Meet Winnie 💜 Winnie’s journey with us began when we were contacted to help with her puppies. But we could never leave a mama behind—and this sweet girl has earned her own happy ending. Her pups, Lola, Vito, and Cleo, are on their way to bringing joy to new families, and now it’s Winnie’s turn to be someone’s beloved baby. This beautiful mama has done her job, raising her litter with love and care. She was originally rescued by a kind-hearted woman who also took in her not-by-blood but very-much-in-spirit sister, Harper—Winnie absolutely adores her. If you know cattle dogs, you know they’re loyal to the core, and Winnie is no exception. At first, she may be a little reserved—she likes to observe and understand new people. But give her a moment, and you’ll find a loyal, loving companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. Winnie is happy both with and without other dogs. She enjoys running around with her friends at the dog park but never strays far—she’ll always circle back to make sure her person is still there. She’s house-trained, uses a doggie door, is non-destructive, and is learning how to walk on a leash. But honestly, once she bonds with you, she won’t want to wander far anyway. Winnie is great with humans of all sizes and has the kindest heart. Now it’s her time. She deserves a home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and never worry about being left behind again. We’re hoping someone sees the beautiful soul she is and gives her the forever family she’s been waiting for. Story
Oh, wow! Isn't she pretty??!! Janie is a mix of Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) and Labrador Retriever. She's about 9 years old and weighs 45 lbs. Her tricolor coat is short and sleek, and she loves it when you pet her. A slightly shy and very gentle girl, when she gets to know you, she truly comes alive.  She does well with older children (small ones can be a bit rough sometimes) and would love a fenced back yard. She plays with other dogs and is wonderful with people! A beauty inside and out.
