Story
Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 5 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention and can be ok with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He has been exposed to cats and will leave them alone. He is not recommended for homes with small children because he can be protective of his food, treats, and people. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy once he warms up to his person / people. It will take time for him to adjust in his new home so his new people need to be patient and loving. If you are looking for an only dog to be your bestest snuggle buddy or have other dogs that are also aloof, please submit an application at forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and any potential adopter must meet him here.

Story
Annie's been our girl since she was 6 months old, found alone under a shed in the rain. She's affectionate, loyal, and bonds deeply with her people. She's great with other dogs (lived happily with our female, but tends to prefer males) and wonderful with adults. Like many cattle dogs, Annie is sensitive and can get anxious — it's her herding instinct. She thrives on routine, calm, and a patient owner who knows the breed. Her ideal home is adults-only, or one with grown, dog-savvy older kids. She isn't a fit for young children, despite professional training. She'd love a person or couple who appreciate a smart, loyal heeler and can give her a steady, loving home. If that's you, we'd love to talk — Annie has so much love to give.

Meet Smalls (aka Chuck Norris)Smalls is a 1-year-old cattle dog who’s equal parts fun, loyal, and full of life. Not good with cats,
Story
Don't be fooled by my good looks!!! I am a female red merle mini with blue eyes and I live up to the sterotype. I pack a lot of punch in my 23 lbs and need an experienced owner. However, as the ONLY pet (no dogs, no cats) and no children, I will be your sweet, playful, loyal and fun companion. I know I will take a special home but I also know there is one out there just for me. If you think you can pass the tests (and there will be a lot of those) then please apply for me at forrescue.net Until then, I will be doing my cute spins and sits, getting belly rubs, and barking at all the other dogs (that I'm separated from) at my foster home. Thank you for considering me. Note: I am fostered in Huntsville, Alabama and am NOT available for transport so anyone interested in making their life more exciting with me in it must come to Huntsville to meet me.

Story
Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is healed from that but needs 24/7 dog door access - he is doggie door trained. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. If you are interested in Marmaduke, please fill out an application at our website: forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and we have determined because of his need for 24/7 dog door access he should be adopted locally in case an adopter cannot manage his condition and he must return to the rescue. We only want what is best for this amazingly sweet boy!
