Story
💙Meet Redmont Redmont is a Australian Cattle Dog/Pittie mix named after the Birmingham neighborhood he wandered as a stray dog for at least a week, capturing the attention of all the residents. After outsmarting many neighbors who tried to catch him, he was finally captured when he followed another dog into a fenced-in yard. Although he was very scared of humans at the time, his love of other dogs helped lead him to a better place. 🐾 He’s been in a foster home for several months now, and with the help of professional assistance and dedicated foster parents, he has transformed from a skiddish dog scared of all humans into a dog who will approach people with his tail wagging.🐕‍🦺 His foster parents find it remarkable that even though he was so scared of them, he never once growled or snapped at them. He’s a very gentle, sweet dog who plays really well with the other dogs in his foster home. He would love to be adopted into a home with another dog, and would be fine with another dog who is more of the alpha. He’s looking for guidance from the other dogs around him, and will walk away when another dog corrects him. He may look muscular and tough, but he’s really a softy. Redmont is estimated to be about a year old. When he plays with other dogs, you can really see his youthful energy. But after playtime, he’s happy to chill and take a nap. This smart boy is completely house trained! Redmont loves going for walks, and walking was one of the biggest factors in his transformation. His foster parents want him to go to a home where his new family is committed to walking him daily (weather permitting). They also would prefer a home with a fenced yard. While he has improved so much in just a few months, certain noises still scare him and he might have the tendency to run away when scared. He is not an escape artist, though, so a fenced yard would be sufficient to keep him safe. Redmont’s foster mom wanted to document his journey for all the neighbors who became so invested in him, so she created an Instagram account (redmont_the_dog) for the neighbors to follow his progress. Please check it out if you want to get a better sense of how he has transformed into the special dog he is today. 🫶

Story
Meet Pam, Sam, and Cam, our 4-month-old  Blue Heeler mixes. They weigh between 14 and 18 pounds, but we expect them to mature to around 45 pounds. They love to play with other dogs and we predict that they will even do well with cats because of their friendliness. All littermates have short coats with Pam's being black and white ticked, Sam's being brindle with white and black ticked paws and snout, and Cam's coat being white with black dots. Each pup enjoys playing with plush or rope toys and enjoys running in the grass. These three pups are full of potential, and they're ready to share their love and happiness with a forever family. Adopt Pam, Sam, or Cam and let their playful curiosity bring a new spark to your life! (ME, 2/17/2024)      **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  April 28, 2024, 2:43 pm

Story
Meet Prince, a charming 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog and Blue Heeler mix! This sweet fellow now tips the scales at a healthy 30 pounds, but is expected to mature to around 40 pounds. He has a beautiful short white and black coat. Prince is a dog who wears his heart on his paw, ready to give his love freely to those who show him kindness! He would do well in a home with other dogs, but cats aren't his best friends. Prince should be adopted because he has so much love to give. His warm personality and playful nature make him the perfect companion for any family or individual looking for a loyal and loving friend!
