Story
Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 5 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention and can be ok with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He has been exposed to cats and will leave them alone. He is not recommended for homes with small children because he can be protective of his food, treats, and people. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy once he warms up to his person / people. It will take time for him to adjust in his new home so his new people need to be patient and loving. If you are looking for an only dog to be your bestest snuggle buddy or have other dogs that are also aloof, please submit an application at forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and any potential adopter must meet him here.

Story
Annie's been our girl since she was 6 months old, found alone under a shed in the rain. She's affectionate, loyal, and bonds deeply with her people. She's great with other dogs (lived happily with our female, but tends to prefer males) and wonderful with adults. Like many cattle dogs, Annie is sensitive and can get anxious — it's her herding instinct. She thrives on routine, calm, and a patient owner who knows the breed. Her ideal home is adults-only, or one with grown, dog-savvy older kids. She isn't a fit for young children, despite professional training. She'd love a person or couple who appreciate a smart, loyal heeler and can give her a steady, loving home. If that's you, we'd love to talk — Annie has so much love to give.

Story
Meet Smalls (aka Chuck Norris)Smalls is a 1-year-old cattle dog who’s equal parts fun, loyal, and full of life. This handsome boy has never met a stranger—he truly loves everyone, from adults to kids, and gets along great with other dogs and even cats. He’s both potty trained and crate trained, making him an easy, ready-to-go addition to the right home. Smalls is the perfect balance of active and affectionate—he’s always up for a long walk or adventure, but just as happy curling up next to you for some quality cuddle time.Like any cattle dog, Smalls thrives with activity and would do best with an active family. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for him to safely run, play, and burn off that energy. And fair warning—this boy has something to say! Smalls is a “talker” who will happily chat with you, especially when you get home, making sure you feel extra loved. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will keep you moving and make you smile every single day—Smalls is your guy.If interested in adopting please go to the website or go to the adoption process section and click on the adoption link to submit your adoption application.
