Story
Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 3-5 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention and can be ok with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He has been exposed to cats and will leave them alone. He is not recommended for homes with small children because he can be protective of his food, treats, and people. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy once he warms up to his person / people. It will take time for him to adjust in his new home so his new people need to be patient and loving. If you are looking for an only dog to be your bestest snuggle buddy, please submit an application at forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and any potential adopter must meet him here.

Story
Best way to start your day is with a yummy breakfast, right? Well, we have a litter of Heelers who will start your day with just what you need. Four months old, they're going to mature to around 40 pounds although they weigh about 15 now. Their names are Grits, Pancake, Pop Tart, Waffle, Gravy, and Oatmeal! These babies are kind and loving, dog friendly and water-loving! They have a great time racing around the yard and, when tired, plopping into naps that will last only however long it takes for their energy to return, and then they're up and playing again! This includes gravy who has lost a rear paw probably the result of a birth defect. This doesn't stop him, though! Especially when he wears a bootie as he chases all the others! Breakfast of Champions! (posted 9/24/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **November 13, 2025, 10:28 am

Lower Fee! Meet our sweet, sweet Tiana or TT as we call her, a Heeler mix who was born 8 months ago right here in Crossing Paths. She presently weighs about 20 pounds and will mature to between 25 and 30 pounds. Tiana had a tough start to life with a mother who rejected her and treated her cruelly. Tiana developed seizures for which she is on medication. Though she moves a little slower and sees the world differently, she's full of quiet love and is searching for a gently, patient home where she can simply belong. You can read more about Tiana in her rescue story: https://www.crossingpathsanimalrescue.org/rescue-stories/fragile-beginnings-fierce-heart (posted 7/27/25, ME) Lower Fees: Adoption Fee: $150.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records.
