Story
Meet Pedro — a goofy, lovable 1-year-old with a heart as big as his smile! This handsome boy already knows how to sit and is eager to please, making him a fun pup to continue training with. Pedro has a silly personality that will keep you laughing every day, especially when he jumps up to give his signature hugs. Pedro absolutely loves tennis balls and could spend hours chasing and playing with them. When playtime is over, he’s happiest curled up in your lap soaking up affection like the oversized lap dog he believes he is. Pedro can be dog selective, so he may do best with a calm canine companion who matches his vibe. With the right introduction and environment, he has the potential to thrive in a loving home. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, smiley best friend with tons of personality, Pedro might just be your perfect match!Breed is based on physical features. Story
Meet Pinecone Pax. He is a mixed breed cattle dog. DOB 1/13/2025. Pax and siblings are looking for their forever homes. They get along well with other dogs and would be a great addition to your family. Pax & sibling, Nomad Nico spent time in a cold weather foster and here is what she had to say: They were both very good. They do have a lot of energy. They were curious about the cats and barked at them. They enjoyed being lazy, playing with the dogs and each other and enjoyed people interaction. They both rode well in the car. They were very nervous entering the house the first time. They definitely need something to chew on! All our pets are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open from 9 am to 4 pm, seven days a week. No appointment is necessary for adopters. For more information, please email havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com. To save time at the shelter, complete your adoption application at www.havenoftheozarks.org/adopt.
