Story
This cutie is Chloe. She is currently 3 months old and weighs approximately 16lbs. We think they may be an Australian cattle dog/english springer spaniel mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Chloe’s playful personality here: https://youtu.be/X56c4m4K-L0?si=hDmpJfzMQXQvpeuD Chloe is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She loves to play with her siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Chloe is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
You know those people that plan their whole day around making sure their dog feels included and adored? Be prepared for that to be you! This is Skye and she is gentle, kind, a calm presence, tender hearted, and a delight to have around! Skye is so fortunate and is being fostered in a loving home where she is learning the rhythm of home, and office life beautifully! In her foster home, she’s discovering what it means to have “housemates” (a heeler, corgi, and terrier!), and “landmates” in the form of chickens, horses, barn cats and cows. No matter what the situation, she approaches with a sweet, soft curiosity. She is estimated to be 6 months old, currently weighs 21 lbs and her looks make us believe she is a cattle dog mix. Do not be alarmed by that "breed" they have a reputation but this girl is not the full-speed ahead, bossy herding type, you may think of. Her look would have you believe she is a cattle dog type but we are convinced that is just in looks- Skye is more of a thoughtful little observer with a gentle nature. Want to see Skye in action? Head to YouTube for “Skye |Cloud Nine Companion” ☁️🐾 https://youtu.be/Dtl6OQK9nAw Skye’s foster has been giving her exactly the kind of life that helps a dog blossom- riding in the truck, tagging along to work, visiting family (complete with bonus dogs), and popping by places like feed stores so she can slowly build confidence in the world. Skye has already shown she can do well with other dogs, and she could also thrive as a solo pup, as long as she still gets regular “life exposure” and easy-going adventures like she’s getting now. She enjoys having doggie friends around, and has learned how to be part of the group in a way that feels friendly, safe and easy. At home, Skye is doing so well with routine. She’s kennel trained and sleeps in her kennel in the bedroom, and she’s been holding it overnight like a champ (think 10:30pm to around 5:30am). She is also house trained thanks to frequent trips outside, lots of praise, and the occasional reminder of the task at hand when the world gets a little distracting. She is a puppy after all. . Skye is also proving herself to be a polite houseguest- she’s not a big barker, she’s not destructive, and she’s responsive and easy to guide on leash, with a nice natural understanding of leash pressure. Skye’s “farm résumé” is pretty impressive too. Chickens? Fine. Horses? Fine. Barn cat? Also fine. In both foster life and during the time we spent with her during a recent visit, she showed that lovely, respectful neutrality around cats and other animals, the kind of calm that makes multi-pet homes breathe easier. Skye would love a home that keeps things steady and supportive while she continues growing and learning. A yard would be wonderful for easy potty breaks and peaceful exploring time, but her foster believes she could be apartment-friendly too, especially with consistent outings and a predictable routine. If there are kids in the home, Skye’s best match would be gentle, respectful kiddos who understand that a soft-hearted pup does best when introductions are calm and the world isn’t turned up to full volume everyday.. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady sidekick, Skye is ready and waiting! Adoption profile: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/696937b1c9c4d3d4e10fbfdb Questions? The first thing that is going to come to your mind when you first meet Rayne is how sweet and little he is! Not only is his personality irresistible, but he is adorable! Just look at those ears and his cute little face! Truly, there is so much to love about him. Watch his video and fall in love with this sweet boy: https://youtu.be/Z6P6USZcgK0?si=SG2GOnBJKX8ogfHd Rayne is believed to be a Blue Heeler mix approximately 6 months old and currently weighs 20 lbs. Y'all, this boy is tiny!!! He barely even takes up an entire couch cushion and we do not see him getting a whole lot bigger, if at all. Even for his age, he has such a calming energy about him too. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. One thing that we do know for certain is how sweet and innocent Rayne is. This little guy is so, so, so sweet it’s almost impossible not to fall in love with him. From the second you meet him, you can instantly feel the sweetness radiating from him. Even his foster raves about how sweet he is, it’s all they could talk about! His foster also loves how incredibly great he is around their kids. Rayne is being fostered in a home with kids ranging in ages from 2–18 and has been nothing but fabulous with them. He has a wonderful energy about him and loves to snuggle. Rayne would make a great companion for a family with kids! Rayne is currently in a loving foster home and loves to spend his mornings playing outside with the other dogs in the home and enjoys a good nap in the shade. He has a bit of a shy approach to new experiences and when he meets new dogs, but his sweet, gentle, curious nature is constant. Rayne loves to play with his foster siblings and will do best in a home with another playful friend. He shares his toys beautifully with his foster siblings as well and will melt your heart when he looks up at you with those eyes. You can see he is a trusting and loyal soul. Rayne also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around him as well. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! He would love to go to a home with a backyard where he can stretch his legs, play with his toys, and sunbathe during those nice summer days. He loves to play with toys and loves to work his little brain. Mental stimulation will be key to making this little guy happy and key to keeping him out of things he shouldn't be getting into. It's funny because his foster mom says she knows exactly when he gets bored and it trying to find "trouble." He'll start trotting around just looking for things to stick his little nose in LOL. Rayne listens very well and as long as his little brain has something to keep him occupied, he's a happy little camper. He is still young and, even at his age, Rayne is already showing great house manners. His foster says he has been so easy to have around! He is such a sweet boy! We are willing to test Rayne Nature with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Some dogs burst into a room and some quietly take a spot next to you on the couch. Rusty Cutie Patootie is very much the second kind he is gentle and peaceful. He has a presence that brings a sense of calm wherever he goes there is something comforting about having him nearby he just exists alongside you. Check out Rusty’s YouTube video to see him cute self https://youtu.be/4rmlUG7Q3oo?si=WGa04LJFuPOOVUVq Rusty Cutie Patootie enjoys being close to people and happily except soft pets, standing patiently by your side and soaking in the affection. He doesn’t ask for much just kindness, patience, and a little space to feel safe. His quiet nature makes every small connection feel meaningful, and when he chooses to lean in or linger by it feels so special. Rusty is a handsome cattle dog husky mix who’s about a year and a half old and weighs 60 pounds. He has a quiet presence and a gentle way about him. Rusty isn’t the type to demand attention instead, he stands nearby and softly lets you know he’s happy just being close. At first Rusty may come off as a little reserved but once he settles in he would love to lay next to his people all day. He may not immediately seek out constant affection but he truly appreciates it. Rusty did very well around other dogs. He was very polite, respectful and calm greeting them with sniffs and good manners. Well he didn’t show interest in playing or roughhousing he coexisted amazingly even with dogs who were eager to engage him. Rusty simply prefers to do his own thing. Explore the yard sniffing around or standing nearby taking everything in. Because of this he would do best with the calm, respectful dog sibling who won’t pressure him to play, though he would also be perfectly happy as an only dog soaking up a peaceful routine. When it comes to people Rusty does best when he is given a little time and space to feel comfortable, he can be unsure when people approach him quickly or when there’s a lot going on around him so a quiet, low traffic home would be ideal. Either an apartment or home with a yard could work for him. He does seem a bit uneasy around cars so a less busy area would help him feel more at ease to build confidence. One of his sweetest qualities is how well he did with kids. He showed a gentle calm, presents around them and seemed most comfortable in their company. He would do best with children who understand how to respect a dogs space allowing him to approach on his own terms and not push boundaries. But he is good with kids being crazy and roughhousing. He didn’t react just sat there and watched. Rusty did meet our cat and he did pretty well didn’t react much. I think he would need to get another cat test done to be sure but it is possible he could live with a cat. Rusty is not high energy or demanding. He’s a nice calm, easy-going dog who doesn’t need constant simulation to be happy, he’s a type of dog who would enjoy quiet mornings, long walks and peaceful evenings at home. With time, consistency and patience rusty has all the potential to blossom into an incredible loyal and loving best friend. If you’re looking for a dog who values, calm companionship Rusty may be the perfect fit for you. He’s a special boy. He just needs the right environment and when he gets it ,it will be worth every moment. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? He is kid approved & respectful. You can find them playing all day-- tug, chase...you name it! All the fun things. He's very intuitive and gentle, and takes treats so well from his tiny little hands. They are best buds. Thunder is a rare "plug-and-play" rescue who is already a pro at house life! • House-broken? Check! • Crate-trained? Check! • Leash Manners? Absolute gentleman! Thunder has so much training potential. His foster momma has paws of the couch and little guy mastered it in no time. He understands and knows what is allowed, and knows that his crate is his hang out space when he needs some quiet time. At only 6 months old, he recognized the "kennel" command and knows exactly what to do! Thunder is a great communicator and will give gentle nose boops as his way of saying, "I'm ready for fun!" He enjoys some down time chewing on Nylabones or self entertaining with squeaky toys, so be sure to have plenty around. He is still learning and may want to nibble on something he shouldn't, but the great thing about him is that he redirects in a heartbeat with a verbal cue. Though he loves to play, he is just as happy curling up for a good nap. Thunder got a chance to meet our rescue kitty. It was his first time meeting a cat and was unsure of what he was, but he did well. He is a young puppy and may want to play, so we recommend a home with a dog savvy cat that won't mind the curiosity. He has a lot of potential and is ready to learn. If you have a cat in your home, we can offer a sleepover in a kitty friendly home to get more detailed interaction. Thunder would thrive in just about any type of home- a fenced yard where he can zoom and play chase, or if a fence is not available he would love to be with someone who will take him out and about exploring or having doggy dates where he can get his play in. He is fantastic on leash and would do great out and about on doggy friendly outing. Thunder is just waiting for the family ready for a lifetime of happy leaps and loyal companionship. Story
This cutie is Sabrina. She is currently 6 months old and around 35 lbs. We think they may be a Heeler mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! Because of her breed we believe she’d do best in a home with a yard where she can run and play at her pleasure! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Sabrina playful personality here: https://youtu.be/wdApe6xCTYI Meet Sabrina! This playful, loving, and curious girl is full of personality and joy. Sabrina adores people, is wonderful with kids, and enjoys the company of other dogs—making her the perfect addition to a family or a loyal best friend for someone looking for a devoted companion. She loves going on walks, hikes, and any adventure you’re up for, but she’s just as happy to curl up beside you for snuggles. When she’s not playing with her siblings, you’ll find her napping and recharging for her next round of fun. Eat, sleep, play, repeat—that’s Sabrina’s motto! We take pride in providing detailed personality and behavioral information to help ensure the best match possible. You’re also welcome to schedule a FaceTime call to meet Sabrina before completing any paperwork! Sabrina is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires.
