Story
L'il Bit is an incredibly sweet, loving, loyal red heeler! She loves to walk/hike, is super playful, very smart and easily trained and is ready to offer her huge heart. A great snuggler! She's also very chill and calm for a heeler! Enjoys lots of activity but doesn't incessantly demand it. She is not aggressive with other dogs or humans and is really good around cats also (though if she's started by a cat, she will bark and begin to chase but is very easily re-directed.) She's a wonderful, loyal, loveable companion!

🤍 Say Hello to Porter! 🤍 Some dogs make an impression the moment you meet them—and Porter is one of them. At 1½ years old and about 45 pounds, this sweet, gentle boy is full of love and looking for a family to call his own. His deafness doesn't define him—it simply means he experiences the world a little differently. What matters most is his kind heart, eager spirit, and endless capacity for love. 🐾❤️ Porter may take a minute to warm up to new people, but once he feels safe, he's all about companionship, affection, and being close to his favorite humans. He's the kind of dog who quietly works his way into your heart and never leaves. 🥹 He's also a smart cookie! Porter is learning tether training, leash manners, basic obedience, and polite greetings with all four paws on the floor. He responds beautifully to positive reinforcement and is catching on to hand signals and routines like a champ. 🦻✨ 🏡 A few of Porter's favorite qualities: • 🤍 Sweet as pie and incredibly affectionate • 🐶 Enjoys the company of other dogs • 🐱 Living successfully with cats in a managed household • 🦻 Deaf but eager to learn and connect • 🏠 Crate trained • ✅ Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped Porter would love a family that understands every dog learns at their own pace and is excited to continue building his confidence. In return, he'll offer unwavering loyalty, quiet devotion, and a lifetime of unconditional love. 💙 Looking for a truly special companion? Porter is ready to prove that the best friendships aren't measured by what you can hear—they're measured by the love you share.

Story
Jasper is a 12-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix who has been a cherished member of his family for the past 10 years. At a healthy 50 pounds, Jasper is a sturdy dog with a peaceful disposition. He’s a gentle soul with a calm and affectionate demeanor, making him the perfect companion for those seeking a loyal and laid-back friend. Jasper absolutely loves car rides and walks, and you can see the excitement in his eyes whenever it's time to head out for an adventure! He’s never shown aggression toward people or animals, peacefully coexisting with chickens and a cat for many years. He also has a playful side and enjoys chasing squirrels in the yard from time to time. He gets along with all sizes, breeds, and ages of dogs. He has been around children and done very well. As he ages, Jasper is starting to lose some of his hearing, but his loving, loyal personality remains as strong as ever. During the day, you’ll often find him lounging around the house, enjoying restful moments. Jasper makes an excellent adventure buddy. He’s a smart dog who loves being by his person’s side, bringing comfort and companionship wherever he goes. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-maintenance companion who enjoys both adventure and relaxation, Jasper could be your perfect match! **Ember is not in the direct care of Happy Tails Happy Homes. We are assisting in rehoming her at no fault of her own. If you are interested in the amazing girl, please fill out an application here and we will connect you with her current owner: https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform** Meet Ember! Ember is a 10.5-month-old cattle dog/pit bull mix with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. This sweet girl absolutely loves people and wants nothing more than to be with her person. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, Ember is your girl—she has zero concept of personal space and will happily crawl right into your lap despite thinking she’s still puppy-sized! Ember is currently going through a normal fear period associated with adolescence, but she is handling it wonderfully and making huge strides every day. With patience and continued confidence-building, she’s proving to be a resilient and eager learner. When she’s feeling confident, Ember is a social butterfly who loves both people and other dogs. She has a rough-and-tumble, bitey play style typical of many cattle dogs, so she’d do best with dogs that enjoy that type of play and can match her energy. This little bowling ball is incredibly smart, highly food motivated, and has excellent working potential. She picks up new skills quickly and genuinely enjoys learning. Whether you’re looking for a hiking companion, a family adventure buddy, or a dog to explore scent work with, Ember has the drive and heart to excel. ✅ Loves people and affection ✅ Dog-friendly ✅ Extremely intelligent and trainable ✅ Great hiking companion ✅ Excellent scent work potential ✅ Active and eager to learn Continued training and support are available through Rocket Dog Academy at a discounted rate for her future family.

Story
This handsome 4-year-old Red Heeler is equal parts athlete and cuddle bug! True to his breed, he’s smart, loyal, and always ready for a job—his favorite job just happens to be fetch. Tennis ball? Frisbee? Stick? He’s all in. If you’re looking for a dedicated fetch partner, you’ve found your guy. He’s currently learning leash manners and making great progress. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he’ll continue to blossom into a polite walking companion. He can be a little anxious in new situations, but once he understands he’s safe, he settles in beautifully and shows his sweet, affectionate side. This boy does well with other dogs and can enjoy dog parks—but don’t expect him to mingle too much. He’s not there for the social scene; he’s there for fetch and his favorite humans. That laser focus on his people makes him incredibly loyal and bonded. Because of his herding instincts, he would do best in a home without cats. In the right environment, he’s wonderfully cuddly and loves to wind down after playtime by leaning into you for pets and attention. If you’re an active home looking for a smart, devoted companion who will happily chase a ball and then curl up beside you, this Red Heeler might just be your perfect match.
