Story
Hi there! My name is Jody 🐾 and I’m on the hunt for my forever home—could it be with you? I’m a 1.5-year-old medium-sized Cattle Dog mix, weighing about 30 pounds, and I’ve got a big personality packed into my little body. I’m very outgoing once I warm up, and I can’t wait to keep learning new things. I already know how to sit, and with a little patience and love, I’ll be an A+ student 📚✨ I LOVE toys and treats (I get a little excited and sometimes forget my manners, but gentle reminders help me remember to take them nicely). I get along great with other dogs and even cats, and I’m good with kids too—though I can be a bit jumpy, so very small kiddos might get knocked over by accident when I’m feeling extra happy. I’m house trained and crate trained, and while I’m still learning my leash manners, I’m eager to improve. I can be a little shy at first, but once I know I’m safe, I turn into the ultimate cuddle bug 💖 My adoption fee includes: 🐶 Spay 💉 Rabies & all age-appropriate vaccines 📍 Microchip 🪱 Dewormer 🦟 Flea & tick prevention All I’m missing now is you—someone patient, loving, and ready for cuddles, playtime, and a loyal best friend. Love, Jody 🐾💗 Jody doesnt take great pictures. so they are not doing justice you should meet her in person you will fall in love with her.

Story
Meet June-Bug!June-Bug is a beautiful 2-year-old Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of love and a gentle, sensitive spirit. She is looking for a very specific home where she can feel safe, secure, and truly thrive.June-Bug must be placed in a home without small children. She is easily overwhelmed by loud activity, fast movement, and commotion, making a quiet, adult-only home—or one with older, calm teens—the best fit for her. Loud noises and even balloons can be frightening for her, so she is happiest in a peaceful environment with a predictable routine.Once she trusts you, June-Bug is incredibly affectionate and devoted. She loves to cuddle, stay close to her person, and soak up all the love and attention you have to give. She forms strong bonds with her family and will happily be your loyal companion through every adventure. She enjoys running, long walks, and hiking, making her an excellent partner for someone who loves the outdoors. She’s not a dog who needs constant playtime—she’d much rather explore the trails with you before curling up on the couch for some quality cuddle time.June-Bug is potty trained, crate trained, and very food motivated, making continued training enjoyable and rewarding. She could use a little work on leash manners, but she’s eager to learn. She gets along well with other respectful dogs but can become overwhelmed by dogs that are excessively barky or chaotic. She has not been around cats, so a home without cats would likely be the best match.June-Bug isn’t looking for a busy household—she’s looking for her person. Someone who understands that sensitive dogs deserve patience, kindness, and a calm place to call home. In return, she’ll give you unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a best friend who will never leave your side.If your home is quiet, child-free, and you’re ready for a sweet companion who will love you with her whole heart, June-Bug is waiting to meet you.July 20, 2026, 7:06 pm

Story
Baron was taken in young by a family member whose parents wanted to get rid of him. We took him into our home to foster him for a while until he finds his forever home. He loves to run and swim. His ideal home would be a place where he can run around all day long and chase squirrels. He walks fairly well on a leash, is great around our toddler and our cat. He is timid around strangers but does well and gets comfortable after some playing. No bite incidents but argues with the neighbor dog over the fence.

Story
Jake is a very sweet, one-year old cattle dog mix. We adopted him from the Sacramento SPCS when he was a couple months old, but we didn't know his breed. We have two Basset Hounds and a cat. My husband now works out of town and that many animals is too much for me. Jake has different energy needs than my bassets and he chases my cat because he wants to play. He interacts well with people and other dogs. We don't have a yard, so at this point, he is spending 8 hours in a crate during the day. He also sleeps in a crate so that's far too many hours in a crate! He's a fantastic dog and I'm sad that I am rehoming him, but it is what is best for Jake. For the lucky adopter, Jake will come with two crates, a dog bed, bowls, harness, leash, and toys. If you are active or have older kids to play with him, Jake would be a great fit!
