Story
ABOUT Hopper: Hopper is around 4-5 years old. He's fully grown and neutered weighing at about 60lbs. He loves outdoors and playing with his toys, and loves cuddles. He knows basic commands like "sit" and "come". Our household has other dogs that are around 20lbs, for the duration that Hopper's been with us, he gets along with them just fine. Hopper is really clingy and loves to cuddle! ABOUT Adopting Hopper: My family got Hopper from a local shelter around May of 2023, we've had him ever since, but things have changed and my daughter is now moving away for college. She's unable to take her dog with her and the family is preoccupied with family medical issues, so we're unable to take care of Hopper properly going forward. We are looking for someone who can give Hopper time and attention that he needs. He is a breed that needs a lot of exercise and mental stimulation so he doesn't get bored.

Story
Tessa is a pretty tan/w white female, with gorgeous eyes. She looks Pit Bull with maybe cattle dog She is a Heinz 57. Tessa is nearly 12 weeks old weighs 25 lbs. She is very playful with litter mates, other dogs and humans. One of our sanctuary dogs acts like she is Tessa and Tanners mother…it is adorable. Tessa, and siblings were left in a tub on our front porch. The puppies were starved for attention, and love human interaction. They are smart and taught themselves how to use doggie door quickly just by watching the other dogs. They don’t mind getting a bath or blow drying. They Love stuffed toys and squeaky toys and are affectionate puppies. They use potty pads at the sanctuary and will go outside to potty. We have started vaccinations and dewormed them as well as micro-chipped. She will be spayed when we are able to have that done. They are looking for a loving home now. Tessa is an affectionate, sweet and loving puppy. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. Story
Sutter is a 6 month old Cattle dog possibly mixed with something else. He was abandoned as a pup in the city of Sutter and found malnourished. He’s since been nursed back to health and is a happy, lovable dog. His rescuer wanted to keep him but he liked to chase their cats and his puppy-ness was just a little too much for them to handle being elderly with health conditions. Sutter is currently thriving in a foster home with 4 huskies. Sutter knows sit, plays well with other dogs of all sizes, great with kids, adjusts quickly, sleeps all night on his bed in his foster parents bedroom and learned to use the doggy door and potty outside within his first 24 hours. He’s very smart! And super loving! His foster parents are working on his jumping manners and walking on leash without pulling. Are you Sutters people?

(((READ ALL INFO BEFORE INQUIRING PLEASE))))) Steps needed to adopt Step 1) complete the application, the link is below https://form.jotform.com/81702264428152 Step 2) Thoroughly read any info about the dog. Review the rescues adoption procedures and process. Thoroughly research the breed. Please do not submit multiple emails or applications. We will contact you if we feel your home is a good fit. ALL dogs and cats in the rescue must be spayed/neutered in the rescue. Because puppies may be to young to undergo surgery, they are placed on our spay and neuter schedule. If they are adopted prior to their surgery date, the adopter must agree to either bring the dog back for their spay/neuter, or complete the alter at their own vet with a special contract in place and proof of the alter within a timeframe. If submitting an application for a puppy under 4 months, they might not yet be altered and are on the schedule. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- >>>>>>About the Dog

Story
Leila is a great Aussie who loves to chase a ball as far as you can throw, go on long walks and hikes, and have a comfy spot to lay her head at the end of the day. She was professionally trained in her youth and follows commands from her owners with ease. We are looking for a home that she can be the queen of the house at, where she will be loved and provided plenty of exercise.
