Bingo LOVES to play with toys, but fetch is her favorite game. Bingo is an active lady and would enjoy a family that also enjoys "being active" as their hobby.Bingo has been fully sponsored by a loving fan. The tools in this kit will help provide basic enrichment and training and help them adjust to their new home.I don't have a history with dogs, so I may need slow introductions to new dogs.I don't have a history with cats, but may do well with them with a slow introduction.I don't have a history with children but may do well with older/respectful kids!If you are interested in this specific animal, please come to the shelter for walk-in adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm. Story
**This is a courtesy post. Jaxson is not part of the Yolo County SPCA and his adoption will be done through a private party. All adoption applications and interest will be forwarded to his caretakers.** Jaxson is a 4-y ear- old husky and Australian cattle dog mix. He has a beautiful white coat without the husky fullness. Jaxson is a very loving dog. He will cuddle up on the couch with you with the same enthusiasm as he would go on an adventure with you. He likes to be where his people are and because of that, he could use some training to help with mild separation anxiety. He loves other dogs, cats, and children. He is very smart, listens well, and still picks up on new commands. He is goofy and playful like a puppy with the maturity of a fully developed dog. Jaxson knows his basic manners and is house-trained. He loves car rides and walks and knows how to “leave it” when he sees other dogs but could use some work pulling. He does best with a head halter (gentle leader). He also knows how to "watch" strangers when walking and is very friendly with strangers inside the home after his initial alert. Jaxson is neutered and up-to-date with his vaccinations. April 22, 2024, 10:47 pm

Story
This Chicken is irresistible! Chicken is a 5-month-old cutie pie who has wiggled his way into all our hearts. He is a little ball of energy who loves nothing more than a day filled with playtime and cuddles. He is the perfect mix of chill and crazy puppy energy and would love a home that can provide him with lots of activity, but also make sure he gets lots of snuggles. Chicken currently weighs around 15lbs and likely will be around 45lbs when fully grown. Chicken came to us through the UC Davis Fracture Program after he was hit by a car and his family couldn't afford his medical care. They surrendered him to us and the Fracture Program got him all fixed up. He is now all healed and ready to take on the world. Chicken is an affectionate boy who has a sweet and submissive personality. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body and wants to be everyone's friend. he can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long before he is on your lap and covering you in kisses. Chicken is still learning all his basic manners and needs a family that can commit to continuing his training and helping him grow up to be the best boy he can be. This includes learning how to walk on a leash since up until this point he has been on strict crate rest. Chicken loves other dogs and has become BFFs with the large dog in his foster home. He would be a wonderful little brother to another playful dog, but he also may do okay as an only dog with proper exercise and socializing. We haven't seen Chicken around cats, but he may do well living with dog-savvy cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Chicken could be a great addition to a family with kids 10 years and older. Chicken has been doing well with his house training, but he is still learning and needs a family who will be patient with him while he is learning and expect accidents. Chicken does well sleeping in his crate at night and has done well being left in his crate for short periods.  Chicken is such a loving boy and deserves the best home. If you think you can provide that for him, submit an adoption application today!   Chicken's adoption fee is $400.   Apply to adopt here!  https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/  Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)  It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. For more information about an animal, please email dogs@yolospca.org. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org. April 22, 2024, 10:47 pm

(((READ ALL INFO BEFORE INQUIRING PLEASE))))) Steps needed to adopt Step 1) complete the application, the link is below https://form.jotform.com/81702264428152 Step 2) Thoroughly read any info about the dog. Review the rescues adoption procedures and process. Thoroughly research the breed. Please do not submit multiple emails or applications. We will contact you if we feel your home is a good fit. ALL dogs and cats in the rescue must be spayed/neutered in the rescue. Because puppies may be to young to undergo surgery, they are placed on our spay and neuter schedule. If they are adopted prior to their surgery date, the adopter must agree to either bring the dog back for their spay/neuter, or complete the alter at their own vet with a special contract in place and proof of the alter within a timeframe. If submitting an application for a puppy under 4 months, they might not yet be altered and are on the schedule. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- >>>>>>About the Dog
