As an adolescent, Summer is still working on her basic manners, including mouthing and jumping on people-very typical behaviors for her age. Because of this, she would do best in a home with children over the age of 10 who can help reinforce calm, appropriate interactions. As a stray, Summer's history is largely unknown. However, she will need patient, understanding adopters who can gently introduce her to new experiences and help her build confidence as she navigates the world. She can be reactive to other dogs because she gets very excited to meet them and has a hard time containing her enthusiasm.
