Story
I am the most loyal doggo you will ever meet. If you don't want a shadow following you around in the shape of me, I'm not the dog for you. My favorite thing to do is play fetch outside. My humans say that I would literally collapse from exhaustion before I'd quit playing ball. I love to go for walks, get pets, and cuddle whenever possible. I do bark sometimes, but how else would I look out for you? I really am a lover, and just want to be the best boy I can be. A home with older children would be best. I have a lot of training and I learn new skills really quickly. I love being a working dog so give me a task or something to do and I'm on it. I lack manners at times, I like to barge through doors or open ones that are supposed to be closed but mainly because I just want to be involved. I've lived with other dogs, but I'd been around them multiple times (or grew up with them) so I'd suggest a slow and low energy introduction. Dog parks make me nervous and I can be reactive on leash to other dogs, so it's best that I don't go on walks with a lot of paw traffic or large crowds. I currently live with two children, under the age of two and frankly it stresses me out. Their quick movements, loud actions, and unpredictable behavior coupled with my breed as a herding dog, make it really hard for me to thrive in this environment. Older kids, where I can cuddle and they act more low key would probably be a better environment for me. I think the best place for me would be an older home, and possibly one where I can be spoiled rotten. I'm a comfort body so one that lets me on the couch and sleep in bed. Maybe a place with property so I can run around and cause trouble. I need a home with a lot of patience and love, because I need a lot and give a lot. I know how much my mom loves me, she's been my best friend since I was born and I know she's trying to give me the best chance to have the happiest life! I'd do best in a home with older children. My adoption fee includes a training program specific to my needs.

Story
Looking for fosters or foster to adopters! Rooster is 10 weeks old and has had his 2nd vaccines and will need to be fully vetted when ready. Dad is an AKC Beagle and momma is a heeler/cattle dog mix. Rooster- what do I say about Rooster!? He is my favorite ? Simply because he is just one chill dude! Buddy in crime! He is right there by your side. Oh, and not forgetting goofy as heck! Rescue pays for all supplies and getting for fosters! Foster is expected to provide TLC, transport to and from vet appointments, and hopefully some puppy training to help their foster puppy find the best home. Fosters get first dibs to adopt if they should foster fail ? Foster to Adopters (FTA) will foster to adopt their own puppy. We will still pay for supplies and all vetting. FTA's will pay half their adoption fee up front and pay the remaining half once all vetting is completed and they can finalize adoption. If you are interested in fostering a puppy or two, please fill out an application at: https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/fosterapplication/

Story
Meet magnificent Jewel, a gorgeous 4 year old white heeler mix eager for fun! This active girl loves going on walks and making new furry friends along the way. Though she looks robust, Jewel enjoys keeping busy and will thrive in an equally energetic home. After playtime, this sweet girl is quite the cuddle bug, content to lazily chew on a toy or soak up some sunshine while resting. Jewel spent most of her recent life as a solo dog and will need some socialization to newcomers both human and animal. But she warms up quickly with proper introductions. Outgoing Jewel rides nicely in the car and makes an excellent alert companion, letting her people know whenever someone is at the door. All she wants is an active family to call her own that gives her plenty of devotion, playtime, and adventure together. Jewel will turned 4 in March - what better present than finding her happy furever home at last! If you’re seeking a loyal dog with just as much tenacious spirit as snuggly affection to give, look no further than darling Jewel! If you are interested in integrating Jewels into your family please apply at https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/adoptionapplication/

Story
Tas is ready to find his furever home already! His siblings were adopted and he's been waiting since mid November for his people to take him home. Need a great hiking partner? Tas is your guy! Need a dog to teach how to catch a frisbee or other tricks? Tas is your guy! He's very athletic and I think could be taught just about any trick you wanted, especially since he is highly food motivated!! He is an 8 mo heeler mix (the shelter said hound or shepherd mix and my dog scanner app says he has Ibezian Hound in him!) Tas is an old, grumpy soul in a young dogs body!  He's been working on his social skills with other dogs and has been doing fantastic!  He currently lives with other foster puppies and adult fosters and they all get along great. Tas would be fine as an only dog, but would probaby prefer another dog that he could play with. He prefers slower intros to other dogs (so go for a walk together and then meet off leash in the backyard). He does protect his food from other dogs, so will need to be fed separately. He is potty trained and uses the dog door like a champ! Oh, and did I mention he is the perfect size? Only about 36 lbs. His current foster home is pretty chaotic (with dogs), so I think he would love to have a little less chaos and more peace and quiet. He has been around kids, but younger kids scare him, so older kids or no kids would be better so they know to give him his space. Tas loves to have his head scratched and get as much of the love as you want to give him.  When he doesn't feel like playing with the other pups, he keeps himself entertained by throwing a toy up in the air and chasing it!  He will need someone willing to continue to work with him on his dog greeting skills and offer confidence and support for him.  Can you give this boy his perfect home? Story
Hello there! My name is Emery. I`m kind of new to Colorado and this cold weather. I`m getting used to it though with the help of my friends at TCRAS. They`re teaching me so many new things! Like better leash manners, how to contain my excitement, and so much more! I love being around people and soaking up all the pets I can get. I am a bit on the stronger side, but that just means better snuggles! If you`re interested in meeting me, call TCRAS at 719-686-7707 to schedule an appointment!
