Everyone meet Cookiedough!!!! This cute little lady was found as a stray walking herself down the road, leash and all! We were SO sure that was a good indicator she had a family looking for her….. unfortunately we were wrong 🥺 Cookiedough is as cute as can be! She’s around 1-2 years old so she’s got LOTS of energy. She is current on her vaccines and heartworm negative! Good with other dogs! Unfortunately she is very VERY anxious and stressed out. Who wouldn’t be in a loud noisy kennel?! It takes her a little time to trust new people as well but after some time she turns into the sweetest little lady who will melt at your feet! It’s clear she got little to no socialization before coming to us. She would definitely benefit from some time to decompress in a home and learn to trust again! With a heart of gold, an eagerness to please, a smile so beautiful it’ll light up a room–Maybelline has been searching for the perfect home who appreciates what she’s got to offer! Maybelline is a 4 year old Australian shepherd/Australian cattle dog mix with a walk like a Corgi. She is 40lbs which we think is the perfect medium sized pup! Maybelline has lived outside her whole life, so she’s looking for a home that’ll be patient with her while she learns the ropes of indoor living. Right now, her foster mom says she’s acclimating so fast! Maybelline is a very happy go lucky girl. She loves to snuggle up on the couch and hold you hostage. She likes to eat ALL the food you have to offer her–even if it’s a bite of your burger, she doesn’t mind. She will hog the bed, act as a heating pad on the couch, follow you like a shadow, accompany you on any adventure that awaits and will do so without complaints. Maybelline is the picture of a loyal companion. She’s quirky, but who doesn’t love a quirky girl? Her smile comes off as more of a smirk and we giggle every time it comes out. Her eyes are SO expressive. Her whole body will wiggle with joy the second she sees you or hears your voice. She’s such a happy dog. Her nub tail goes a million miles a minute the higher your voice goes. Maybelline enjoys treats, especially if it’s lunch meat, specifically turkey. She’s a little on the picky side with dog food, but she’s just watching her figure! Because she’s snack motivated, training with her will be extra fun! She is great on leash and enjoys nature walks. She’s not a fast-paced girl but hikes could also be her thing! A trip down to the lake could also prove to be a blast! Maybelline is great in the kennel for just learning what one is. She’s a patient girl who waits her turn to come out. She’s also potty trained to perfection! She has been spayed, microchipped by rescue and treated for heartworms - on prevention and up to date on vaccines. She has no special needs or medical needs. Cosmo: The Freckle-Pawed, Big-Smile Pup Ready for Forever! Hi. I’m Cosmo. Black-and-white cutie. Giant grin. Radar ears. Polka-dot paws. I get a lot of compliments. I came out of a shelter in Georgia, but everything changed when I got rescued. Now I’m safe. I’m loved. I’m ready to find a real family who wants a best friend. I’m about 24 pounds now, and even when I fill out, I’ll probably stay in the 30 to 40 pound range. That’s small enough for your lap but sturdy enough for your adventures. People say I might be a mix of fox terrier, cattle dog, and pointer. That means I’m smart, loyal, playful, and curious. I’m young and still figuring things out. I love to explore, I love people, and I’m clean in my kennel. I used to panic on the leash and flop around like I was in a drama class, but I’ve gotten way better. These days, I just want to go out and sniff the world. With other dogs, I bring the party. I’ve got puppy energy and I play hard. Some dogs love it. Others tell me to chill, and I don’t always pick up on that right away. I do best when someone steps in and gives me a reset. I don’t mean harm. I just get excited. Cats? Yeah, I’m not the best match for them. Sometimes new stuff makes me nervous, especially the vet or being crated. I can get mouthy when I feel trapped. But when I know I’m safe, I settle right in and show my soft side. What I need is someone with a kind heart and a strong voice. Someone who will help me stay busy and teach me how to be the best version of me. If you’re the kind of person who sees potential and sticks around to see it bloom, we might be meant for each other.
