Story
Meet Sarge! 🐾💥 This big guy isn’t just a dog—he’s an adventure waiting to happen! Sarge is on the lookout for a family with a nice big yard where he can run, play, and unleash his inner puppy (despite being a total big guy). He’s got the energy of a marathon runner and the heart of a teddy bear. If you’re looking for a snuggle bug who’ll also keep you on your toes with his zoomies, Sarge is your man! 🐕💨 While he’s totally friendly with other dogs, he has no interest in small animals... so if you have a hamster, well, that might be an awkward meet-and-greet. 😅 Ready for a dog who will fill your life with fun, love, and a little bit of chaos? Sarge is waiting to be your new best friend and backyard buddy!

Story
Meet Jackie Frost, a playful, spirited pup with a big personality! Jackie and her sisters were surrendered to a shelter and are now thriving in Misty Eyes foster homes, where they’re being socialized and learning important house manners. Jackie has already started working on her potty training and is making great progress. She’s a friendly, fun-loving girl who enjoys playtime and attention. With her siblings, Jackie was a bit of a bossy little miss — but that confidence is paired with a truly sweet nature that makes her hard to resist. Jackie has herding genes, which means she’s likely to be intelligent, energetic, and eager to “manage” her world. We recommend that potential adopters take time to learn about herding breed behaviors so they can confidently guide her training and provide appropriate mental and physical stimulation as she grows. With structure, consistency, and love, Jackie Frost will blossom into a loyal and devoted companion. If you’d like to meet Jackie, please submit an adoption application online at: https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Meet Aspen, a bright and playful pup with a promising future! Aspen and her sisters were surrendered to a shelter and are now safe in Misty Eyes foster homes, where they’re being socialized and starting to learn important house manners. Aspen has already begun working on her potty training and is off to a great start. She’s a friendly, happy girl who enjoys playtime and attention. As she grows, Aspen will likely show more of her herding dog heritage — traits that often include intelligence, energy, attentiveness, and a natural instinct to “organize” her surroundings. Because of this, she would thrive with an adopter who understands herding breed behaviors and can provide consistent training, structure, and plenty of mental and physical activity. With the right guidance and a loving home, Aspen will grow into a loyal and devoted companion. If you’d like to meet this sweet girl, please submit an adoption application online at: https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Ferdinand is a 9-year-old Heeler/Lab mix with a gentle, loving nature and a strong attachment to his people. He's kind with kids and enjoys being close to family, offering quiet companionship and affection. He's a smart, attentive boy who does best with secure outdoor spaces and supervised time outside. Ferdinand has been with his brother his entire life and shares a deep, reassuring bond with him. He can become anxious when they're apart, and he truly thrives when they're together as a bonded pair. This is a very difficult decision for our family. Our son was recently diagnosed with moderate to severe asthma, and despite every effort, we've been advised that rehoming our dogs is necessary for his health and safety. Our only goal is to find a loving, stable home where they can stay together and continue to be cherished.

Story
Milo is a 6 year old snuggle hound. He enjoys playing with other dogs but is just as happy looking out the window and alerting his family to any rabbits in the vicinity. He loves belly rubs and nylabones. He hates the cold but will go out with his jacket on. He had a rough start in life and had a number of parasites when we adopted him. He is healthy now but will always test positive for heart worm because he has the antibodies. He would do alright with older kids but very young children (under 5) make him nervous and defensive.
