Story
* Great boy, with such unique ears and coloring* Lived in a home previously with another dog, cats, and children* Came into the shelter very scared and on guard* Has relaxed a bit the longer spent with us and is letting his personality show more* Loves to play with toys- fetch is his favorite* Knows how to sit and take his treats nicely* Curious about cats initially, but then ignored them* Friendly and happy meeting other dogs until one stepped on him* Once he was stepped on, became very grouchy and overcorrected the dog buddy (didn't readily recover)* Would do best with a tolerant dog that has good social skills and a less physical play style* Should do well in a home with childrenPlutoBlue Heeler mixMaleDOB: 10/3/2019Weight: 68 lbs.Heartworm NegativePluto's adoption fee is $100 and includes his neuter, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, heartworm testing, and a free wellness exam. Story
Scarlett is THE CUTEST! From her curly, striped tail to her sweet, speckled face, this charming chick is simply scrumptious. This terrific 2 year old tail-wagger is spunky spirited, and full of playful energy. Scarlett will sit for snacks and is anxious to learn more. She's currently in a foster home and loves playing with toys and taking walks. She can be a little dominant and possessive around canine friends, so we think she'd do best as an only dog. Scarlett will thrive with an active adopter and daily exercise. Her ideal home will include a physically fenced yard. She does have some anxiety and is currently on a daily medication. This medication will need to be continued in her new home.If you're interested in meeting or adopting Scarlett, please complete an application at: inapl.org/adoption-application. Story
$1000 reward for anyone that finds or returns Sid to us!! NO QUESTIONS ASKED!! Sid has been missing since June 13, 2022 from his foster home in Indianapolis Indiana from Meridian park 46205 area. Meet Sid! His mom is Clare the cattle dog mix. He is 1 year old and ever so sweet. Super food motivated. Hes about 28 pounds and at most he will be 33 pounds. Sid ended up with us because he was one of nine dogs confiscated in a cruelty case. Sid was labeled feral and needed help to gain trust, confidence being handled. Sid has exceeded our expectations. He is AMAZING and by far the most awesome little guy ever. He is great with all dogs, cats, and strongly believe he will be perfect with pet friendly kids. A fenced yard is a must. An active home who will continue to allow him to experience life. Daily walks, going on hikes and trails, swimming, OMG he loves swimming. He needs a active outdoor activity loving family with at least 1 or 2 playful dogs in the home. He loves, loves loves car rides and every day he gets better meeting and trusting people. Sid is crate trained and house broken, he walks great on leash and is extremely food motivated. Sid is house and crate trained up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped, neutered, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.
