Peanut-the boy! Just as his name suggests, he's just a wittle baby peanut! Peanut's energy level is just right-medium and perfectly balanced. He's up for a game of fetch or a leisurely stroll around the block, but he's also content to curl up on the sofa and snooze the day away after a burst of the zooms! When it comes to showing affection, Peanut is a pro at wiggling his way into laps. He's like a magnet for cozy spots and will wiggle and squirm until he's nestled right where he wants to be-next to you! Speaking of wiggling, Peanut is a master at it. He'll wiggle with excitement on the sofa and then seamlessly transition into relaxation mode, ready for some serious nap time. But here's Peanut's special talent-kisses! He's got an endless supply of slobbery smooches reserved just for you. Get ready for some serious love from this affectionate guy. Now, let's talk about his social life. He's a social butterfly who adores people and other dogs alike. Playdates at the park? Count him in! If you're looking for a furry companion who brings laughter, cuddles, and kisses into your life, look no further than Peanut. He's got his basics down to a T, and definitely more excited to show you them, with some treats in hand! My adoption fee is only $210! Trout! The biggest snuggler around, his favorite spot is right in the crook of your arm, he will stay there for as long as you'll allow. He is the most content little puppy ever, only making a sound when he gets SUPER excited, but otherwise, he's just a lover. Trout does love some playtime though, tug is 100% his favorite, but he can get down with swinging around stuffed toys, too! As handsome, and as lovable as they come, this mister man is a JOY. He will be sure to fill anyone's home with all the love that is needed! Trout already knows "sit." AND is crate-trained! He is breezing right through puppy Pre-K and we couldn't be proud of this doll! If you're looking for a full-time cuddler, and part-time player, Trout is the boy for you! You're BOUND to be in love, if you aren't already! Just look at those big brown eyes! I can be adopted with a spay/neuter agreement! The refundable fee of $100 is INCLUDED in my $410 adoption fee! Jiffy-man! He does his best not to take a whole lot serious, and it makes him the utter goofball of this place. Whether it's by his comical facial expressions, or wiggle butt towards everyone and everything he loves. Through and through, Jiffy is a good boy. When there's treats around, that's when he's willing to take a crack at some seriousness, quickly getting himself into a 'sit' and 'down' as we expect it from him. Jiffy is a sweetheart, as well, always down to give lovin's and kisses at every given moment in time - he's a true lab! You'll never go a moment without feeling every ounce of his love, as he's the type to stick to your side like glue, and love every moment of it! Whether it's cozy nights in, walks on a trail, or gleeful car rides to see family. He's your guy! Jiffy is about 7 months old, and a bit of a chunk, at 35 pounds! If you're looking for the goodest boy, let us introduce you! Story
We adopted hickory about a year ago in the hopes he would be a good companion for our older dog. Unfortunately, despite him being a sweet, playful dog on his own, he resorts to nipping and herding the older dog. He also didn’t seem to like cats very much either. He needs a home with no other pets and someone who can give him plenty of exercise.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Duke! I am a charming, happy, Cattle Dog mix.  I love to go for walks  or runs  (and I am really good at it!). I also love car rides, stuffed animals, and playing in a fenced-in backyard. I am completely house trained,  crate trained ,  and am very intelligent. I know what sit, lay down , and stay mean, but I could use some more training to work on those commands and anything else you want to teach me.  I love to run and play; I have a whole lot of energy, but I also love to cuddle, give kisses and be loved by my human companion .  Basically, I just like to be doing what my people are.   I am very cautious of new people. I really prefer to come check you out first, and I really rather you don’t pet me until I know you will treat me with kindness.  I may  have to meet you a couple times before  I know I can trust you .   I can’t tell my friends at Last Hope what happened to me before I came to stay with them, but all they know is that it takes me a while to trust people and be comfortable in situations.  Because of this, I should not be in a home with young kids or teens.  My dream home would be with an adult family who is familiar with my kind of challenges and who has a physically fenced in yard. I also want 1 other playful dog around my size (50 pounds+) or bigger  to play with (I can play a little rough so they need to be tough like me) and a family who is very patient with me while I adjust to new people in my life.  I am a very loyal companion and I just want to please my humans!   Once I know I can trust you, I just want to be around you and will be your shadow as you go through your day.  I have also had my DNA tested! I am officially an Australian Cattle Dog/Harrier mix!    Last Hope requires that all pets be kept as indoor pets, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Our adoption process includes reference and vet checks and a home visit. The adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 30, 2024, 2:57 pm
