DEXTER Male - Red Heeler - Born December 2023 Currently 29 lb *Deaf Meet Dexter! This charming boy is ready to find his forever home. Dexter loves to play, take walks and ride in the car! He is a quick learner and very close to being fully potty-trained. Dexter does well in a crate and sleeps through the night. Dexter is feline friendly and would do best in a home without small children due to normal heeler instincts. Story
Adoption Fee: $460, plus taxes Location: Foster Home Meet Gabby, she is a cattle dog mix who is extremely enthusiastic about life! This girl really loves her walks even though she came with very little experience with leash walking skills. In the beginning, she was all over the place and pulling with great gusto. Her foster family has tried a harness as well as a gentle leader and is making lots of progress with her! They are confident that a consistent training schedule will help her master her favorite activity! She had a very long ride up from Texas and at this point does not enjoy riding in the car, however with time and positive reinforcement, she could learn to love sticking her head out the window! Gabby is very smart and she will keep you on your toes. Since her foster family has been together she has learned sit, down, crawl and is working hard on stay and not jumping up. She maybe a little too rambunctious for younger children, but she would love to play with older kids! At this early stage in her training, she gets into mischief sometimes so her foster family is doing an amazing job with kennel training her when they leave the house. She is very playful, she loves her blue ball and is happy to bring it back to you but she is still working on learning to drop the ball after she returns with it. Gabby loves to run, run, and run! She would love you forever if you had a big backyard for her to frolic in! Gabby is a wonderful girl and loves her belly rubs, and any attention from you. She, in return, also loves to hug you! Gabby is about one year old, she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with her vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Gabby, please submit an application on Carver Scott Humane Society's website.

Story
Hi! I'm Morrie and I'm a handsome, happy guy who loves to play with everyone including myself. I toss toys in the air and hop around, and playing with the resident dog is so fun! I love kids and get my happy dance going when I see them. I also like snuggling, laying beside my foster mom when she watches TV and rubs my head/tummy, or standing behind you for head rubs, the best!I sleep through the night on a bed by my foster parents without a peep. I dance with glee for my food, it’s my favorite time of the day and my foster parents love to watch the dance I'm doing for that meal, they think it's so darn cute so I change it up for them! Leash walking is now pretty fun! I love walking anywhere you want to walk me. I'm a very curious doggo and notice squirrels, rabbits or ducks, I watch them a bit and pretty easily get back into continuing our walk. I do love playing outside with other dogs. I do my business outside with a few slipups,I am very earnest and eager to please. I am a quiet boy, barking every once in a while when the resident dog is barking, but I don't normally initiate it. It’s so nice I can trust this is a safe place and I'm now showing off my sparkling personality, my fosters love it! I'm a little timid, but I have met some wonderful people! Give me a little time and I will fully open up, I'm well worth your time. I have gone on weekends away when my regular fosters are gone and the temp fosters love me too!Enough about me, thank you for looking, fill out an application and let's see if we're a match! I'm often at adoption events even! See you! Morrie--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Woof! I am planting myself with you!Hi! My name is Garner, but my foster parents call me their big goofball! As you can see, I’m a very handsome pup!!! I loved everything about meeting my three resident dog siblings and have a great time playing with them all day long.I’m quite a chill pup, but I do have my daily zoomies! I love playing with almost any toy that there is! Tug-of-War ropes and squeaky toys are great, but bones are the best!My foster parents say I'm really smart because I know how to sit, lay down, and wait. I've been potty trained since moving in with my foster parents. I’m walking fairly well on a leash and I love being outside but sometimes I get really excited when I see other dogs, critters, and people so I'm working on asking for permission before making new friends. My safe place is my crate!! I sleep in there over night, go in there during the day while my foster parents are at work, and sometimes sneak into there for an afternoon nap even when the people are home.I would love to meet you and make a happy addition to your family!!!--------------------------------------------"Forget Me Not" PromoFor Applications received through 5/31/2024, Warrior Dog Rescue is taking $200 off of the adoption fee of select dogs over 2 years old that have often been over looked. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Story
Hi there! My name is April and I’d love to be a ray of sunshine for a wonderful family! Before moving here, I was in Alabama where I gave birth to my eight babies (yes, eight!). They were born outside in the rain which was scary for us but thankfully we were all saved and brought to safety. My journey has not been the easiest, but I am still happy as ever! Here are some special things about me:•I am a social butterfly, I love being around people. I get so happy that my whole body wiggles!•My best feature? My ears! They flop like crazy when I prance and run around!•I’d describe myself as sweet and silly.I could go on but if I have your attention, I’d love to show you that I could be the perfect addition to your family. We definitely should meet!***FOSTER TO ADOPT*** April is in our Foster to Adopt Program because she is not yet spayed. Her spay will be coming up soon. If you are interested in adopting April, please fill out an Adoption Application. All medical needs other than her spay will be the responsibility of the Foster to Adopt home. The spay is covered by the rescue and will be through our vets. Once the spay is complete, the adoption will be finalized. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
