Story
Meet Dottie- Look at this beautiful cattle dog girl!  Dottie arrived on a transport from Alabama in early 2020 and was adopted shortly after. Through no fault of her own, she finds herself back in rescue and is looking for her forever family.  Dottie is a very sweet girl that would thrive in an active home. Typical to her cattle dog nature, she can be quite energetic and would prefer a home with a fenced in back yard and/or an active family who likes to take long walks, hikes, fetch, or farm work. Dottie also loves curling up with her people on the couch and snuggling in for pets.  Dottie listens very well and is super smart!  Dottie knows many tricks, including but not limited to: sit, stay, “okay” (to release the stay command), come, lay down, shake, kennel, place, and “tell me about it” (speak (where she howls with enthusiasm). She loves to play and her favorite toy is her stuffed squirrel squeaky toy. Dottie has lived with other dogs and cats and has done well; she tends to be relatively indifferent to cats, and will find any excuse she can to play with dogs in the home. On walks and in other dog-populated areas, Dottie stays focused on her people and tends to ignore other dogs. This girl is a ham and will do anything for the attention of a human. She loves people and has done well with children-she would prefer a home with older or more respectful children who can give her space when she needs it.  Dottie will keep you active, laughing and loving- she is a doll and is ready to be our bestie. If you would like to meet Dottie, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.

Story
My friends taking care of me are hoping to find me a home so they can make room in foster homes for more pups in need.Hi! My name is April and I am the fun, happy pup that you are looking for! I came to MN with my eight babies (yes, eight!). They have almost all found families of their own and I am ready for one too. Here are some special things about me:•I am a social butterfly, I love being around people. I get so happy that my whole body wiggles! Other dogs are fun too - I love to play with them all! I have played with bigger dogs and smaller dogs - they are all so fun!•I love to go on walks and would probably make someone a great running buddy.•My best feature? My ears! They flop like crazy when I prance and run around! The color of my coat is pretty interesting too - everyone says that pictures do not do it justice.•I’d describe myself as sweet and silly. My foster mom says there are so many fun things about me. But, if I have your attention, I’d love to show you that I could be the perfect addition to your family. We definitely should meet!--------------------------------------------"Clear the Shelter" PromoFor applications received now through 7/28/2024, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups over 1 year old. Story
Hello! I'm Carrot, and I'm so sweet. Have you ever heard of puppy dog eyes? Well, I've got them and I know how to use them! I'm living in a house with another dog and she's showing me the ropes. I can be unsure of new things, but I'm getting braver by the moment. My foster parents tell me I'm a mama's boy. I met this thing called a cat, but I don't see her around too much. She has a grouchy look on her face, but I don't take it personal. Going for walks and playing with toys are what I like to do when I'm not cuddling with the humans. Overall, I'm just an easy going sweetie pie with a squishy face made for kissing and pinching. Let's start our life together!--------------------------------------------"Flash Flood" PromoFor applications received now through 7/28/2024, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups under 6 months old. Story
Hi, I'm Sweet pea! I’m a girl that has it all in a perfect package. I’m as beautiful as the flower and as sweet as the vegetable also the goofiest smarty-pants you'll ever meet! My tail is always wagging, and I've got a knack for turning frowns upside down. I ended up here in rescue after I mistook the mailman's bag for a giant chew toy. Whoops! I thought he was delivering a lifetime supply of doggie treats. My bad! I'm a bundle of joy wrapped in fur, always ready to play and cuddle. I'm a pro at snuggling right into your neck when I'm sleepy. If you're looking for a loyal friend who's always up for a laugh, then I'm your girl. Adopt me, and let's create our own comedy show together!Lots of love Sweet pea--------------------------------------------"Flash Flood" PromoFor applications received now through 7/28/2024, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups under 6 months old.
