Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN Baxter is an incredibly sweet dog with a heart of gold. He’s gentle, friendly, and absolutely loves the company of other dogs. Playtime is one of his favorite things—whether he’s romping around outside, chasing his buddies, or enjoying a one-on-one game, Baxter is always up for fun. He already knows his basic commands and is learning more every day. He thrives in a group of dogs but does just as well with a single companion. Baxter truly enjoys having another dog around, so he would do best in a home where he has a furry friend to keep him company. Affectionate and loyal, Baxter is looking for his forever family—one that will give him the love, companionship, and joyful life he deserves. He’s such a good boy, and anyone would be lucky to have him. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Hi, my name is Golem and I am from Alabama. Meet this adorable little nugget who’s looking for a soft place to land! I’m a young pup with a big heart, a wiggly butt, and a whole lot of love to give. I’m playful, curious, and learning new things every day. I’d love a foster who can guide me, cuddle me, and help me grow into the amazing dog I’m meant to be

Story
Hi, my name is Aunt Daisy. I am from Georgia. From her foster: Aunt Daisy is a calm and gentle dog who is happiest lounging around the house with her people. She is the perfect blend of couch-potato cozy and occasional adventures. At home, Auntie is a dream. She is respectful of furniture and happy to stay off the couch if you prefer, though she will want to settle in nearby. She appears to be crate trained but has not needed it during her stay with us as she has behaved herself. One of her cutest quirks is her love of carrying toys around the house. Auntie would thrive in almost any family. She’s gentle with children, friendly with other dogs and cats. She doesn’t mind being handled, snuggled, bumped, or having her paws examined. Her sweet, steady temperament makes her a great fit for a busy household or a quiet one. From the Vet: I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family. After heartworm treatment TBB will agree to cover 1 dental COHAT procedure + 1 round of medications and 1 recheck appointment associated with surgery as determined necessary by The BB Medical Team. This surgery should be scheduled by Aunt Daisy's adopters no sooner than 30-40 days after completion of her heartworm treatment and no later than 6 months post adoption.

Story
Hi, my name is Celina and I am from Alabama. I am a goofy, loyal, SMART, loving pup trying to find my forever home. I love to play with toys, lay and cuddle with my temporary human, and love everyone I meet! I am currently residing in an apartment complex with many people and other furry friends. I get along with everyone and make everyone smile. I already know how to sit, stay, and learning the potty training thing. I would love to find my forever home with someone or a family who is somewhat active and will continue to teach me things since I'm such a curious and smart lady. I am good with children over the age of 5 since I'm still a puppy and learning not to get too excited, but with training will be excellent with all ages. I would be great as an only dog, but also would love a friend!

Story
Hi, my name is Riddick and I am from Alabama. I love car rides and chew toys. I am good with dogs, cats, and kids. I am doing great with potty training and have had very few accidents. I sleep through the night and I love taking naps cuddled up to my person. I get very sad when I’m left alone for any period of time...I love being close to my people. I would do best in a home where someone stays at home and has other dogs. I’m a very good boy who is eager to please my people and learns very easily. I am very motivated by food and love mealtime. I am a playful, sleepy puppy who is looking for a loving forever home.

Story
I need a temp foster from 2/12 - 2/24. (I'm also available for adoption!) Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can help. Hi, my name is Magnum and I am from Arkanas! From his foster: Hi, I am Magnum, a fully trained ten-month-old pup with lots of love to give to my humans. My foster family says I am so pretty and the pictures don't do me justice. You would think from my breeds, I would be high energy, but I am really a very chill dog. I live with other dogs and a cat (although the cat doesn't come around much). Most of my days are spent either playing with the black lab in the house, playing with my toys or sleeping because growing up is hard work. I sleep through the night in my kennel. My foster family tells me I'm a "good boy" a lot and have been training me. I know the commands "sit", "no", "leave it", "kennel", and "off". I am working on "stay", "lay down" and "heel". I am not aggressive with food, bones or toys (whether it be people or dogs). My foster family is impressed with how gentle I am with taking treats from their hand. Snuggles with my foster family are the best and I will be your shadow. I playfully growl when playing with other dogs and bark when someone comes into the house but other than that I am pretty quiet. I do get shy meeting new people but give me 10 minutes and I am fine. Walks are fun and my foster family says I am one of the best dogs they have ever walked on a leash. I get nervous with other dogs out on the trail but am not aggressive. Finding a furever home would be pretty cool and I am ready for it. If you are wanting a smart, cuddly pup that is fully house and crate trained, good on a leash and knows basic commands, I am your guy. Are you my new family?
