Age: DOB 3/28/23 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: No, I'm just a puppy Crate trained: No, I'm just a puppy Your eyes do not deceive you, I really am that gorgeous :) My name is Paprika When I was born everybody said that I was one of the prettiest pup they have seen and I have to agree with them. Along with being beautiful I am also pretty smart and an all around good pup. I like to play with my siblings and my humans. I also enjoy snuggling and relaxing. At night I sleep with my siblings in our puppy room and we use potty pads and a litter box. I am not fully potty trained but I know that this is something that I will pick up pretty quick. During the day I play, eat, sleep, snuggle and then I do it all over again. It's a pretty difficult life :) I really like sleeping on the puppy beds that we have and if I am allowed I am sure that I will enjoy sleeping with you in your bed! I am so excited to meet you! She has been seen by an internal medicine specialist and diagnosed with Megaesophagus (basically an esophagus that doesn’t push food down to the stomach like it normally should), at times causing regurgitation. Supportive therapy for dogs with megaesophagus includes: • Raising food and water bowls to let gravity help the eating process. • Changing the form of food based on the dog’s specific needs. • Providing smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day. • Encouraging dogs to sleep with their front end slightly elevated. • Medications Dogs with megaesophagus can live happy lives with regular veterinary care and pet parent dedication. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
