Age: DOB 3/28/23 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: No, I'm just a puppy Crate trained: No, I'm just a puppy   Hello All!! My name is Tarragon and I am an amazing pup! I know that I am so adorable but I am also a well behaved pup. I get along well with my siblings and humans. My humans say that I have such a wonderful personality and I would be the perfect addition to any family. At night I sleep with my siblings in our puppy room and we use potty pads and a litter box. I am not fully potty trained but I know that this is something that I will pick up pretty quick. During the day I play, eat, sleep, snuggle and then I do it all over again. It's a pretty difficult life :) I really like sleeping on the puppy beds that we have and if I am allowed I am sure that I will enjoy sleeping with you in your bed! I can't wait to find my amazing family! He has been seen by an internal medicine specialist and diagnosed with Megaesophagus (basically an esophagus that doesn’t push food down to the stomach like it normally should), at times causing regurgitation.   Supportive therapy for dogs with megaesophagus includes: • Raising food and water bowls to let gravity help the eating process. • Changing the form of food based on the dog’s specific needs.  • Providing smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day.  • Encouraging dogs to sleep with their front end slightly elevated. • Medications Dogs with megaesophagus can live happy lives with regular veterinary care and pet parent dedication.   Adoption Fee: $450Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Adoption Fee: $450 + tax Location: Foster Home Meet our foster pup, Prancer! He's a three-year old neutered male cattle dog (Australian Kelpie)/shepherd mix. He's great with people/dogs & kids! Calm, smart, loves to play with a ball, and walks well on a leash....we discovered he loves the water too! He knows the command 'sit', and I am working with him on 'sit/stay' before releasing him to eat his food. He is ready to meet his forever family and make a great family companion

Good with dogs,
Story
Hi! My name is Maggie and I am from a shelter in Missouri. IMy foster Mom says I bring her so much joy and I bet I can do that for you too! I love walks around the neighborhood and exploring all the scents in the backyard. I give lots of kisses and snuggles but I'm also completely content going into my crate to play with my toys or for quiet time. I sleep through the night in my crate without a peep! Sometimes my cattle dog tendencies come out when I get overly excited so I tend to lightly nip now and again (can you blame me? I was bred to herd cattle) my foster Mom is working on redirecting that behavior and it's getting better each day! I also know basic tricks such as sit, stay, come, lie down, and shake (I'm working on roll over). I'm a quick learner. I frequently overhear my foster Mom and Dad say how attached they've gotten to me. They also gave me the nickname Freckles which I don't love but I'll put up with it since they were kind enough to take me in. I might get overly excited/stimulated in a home with very young rambunctious kids. I think I'll do much better living with older children. I tend to bark if a stranger comes into the house but I do calm down quickly. Again, how can you blame me? This is all so new and exciting. On walks I LOVE seeing squirrels and other dogs and I'll stop out of curiosity and want to play. My foster Mom will take a few moments to let me observe and soak things in which I appreciate. I have a big crush on the border collie that lives next door. I love playing and interacting with him through the fence. I also met George the stray cat and wasn't as big of a fan. I barked at him. I'm obviously a dog person!
