Story
Bailey was taken in as an emerg foster to help find her a new home away from her not-so-great start in life. She was delivered to my home on a Sunday morning to avoid being dropped off at a shelter the next morning. My 82yo mom took to Bailey and they bonded instantly. Bailey was so gentle, when walking with my mother (and her walker) and after seeing the companionship and joy she brought my mom I was unable to separate the two of them. Sadly, my mom recently passed a few months ago and I am now taking care of my elderly husband who has late-stage dementia and needs constant care and I cannot give Bailey the time she needs any longer. Ideal match would be a quiet, spacious home (for a happy tail wagger) with no other dogs, work from home preferable, or retired, but she is ok alone and does not have to be crated while away. She enjoys human proteins, some dry kibble, soft raw hide chews to keep her teeth fresh, walks on a leash, car rides, and runs in the backyard. @ 70# --DOB 5/5/21.

Story
Meet Joey — the boy who broke his own chains to find love. For three long years, this handsome Blue Heeler lived tethered to a tree on a quiet backroad in Tennessee — unseen and forgotten. Every day was the same, with no affection, no comfort, and no freedom. But one day, Joey’s spirit could take no more. He broke free and found his way to a kind woman who refused to let him suffer another day. Once surrendered, Joey’s new life began with Critter Cavalry Rescue — and what an incredible soul he has proven to be. Despite everything he’s endured, Joey is gentle, loving, and kind. He gets along beautifully with everyone — dogs, cats, children, and even farm animals. He plays nicely, sleeps beside cats, and is calm and trustworthy around little ones.  True to his Blue Heeler nature, Joey is alert, loyal, and purposeful. He loves to explore the yard, enjoy playtime, and then settle quietly at your feet when the day winds down.  Joey has blossomed in his foster home, surrounded by love for the first time — and now he’s ready for a forever family who will give him the stable, happy life he’s always deserved. If you’d like to make Joey part of your family, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com for an adoption application. You’ll never regret opening your heart to this incredible boy. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143  If you would like to apply to adopt Joey please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 11, 2025, 4:41 pm

Story
KODA HAS BEEN RETURNED! DUE TO A TERRIBLE FIGHT WITH THE OTHER DOG IN THE HOUSE. The family is just sick about it, they lover her, but they have to think of their older dog. Both dogs are fine, but it was a bad one. She is doing great in her foster home with many other dogs, they play and have no issues not even over food. She did great at doggie daycare too! We can't seem to figure out why she did not get along with this 1 dog. I think the other dog, since it was older, was the instigator. It is the only thing we can think as she has had no problem with any other dogs. Koda is high energy and needs lots of exercise and mental stimulation to keep her busy. Koda was born on 12/2/24 so she is only 10 months old. She is fully vetted and ready for her new home. She is house trained, crate trained, will follow commands such as sit, stay/wait, free, shake, lay down and high five. She loves other dogs and cats and kids, she just wants to play with everyone. Story
Crocket is the calm friendly one. He is first to get treat, but is polite and doesn't push the others out of the way. He is a very sweet boy. These pups were born on 9/14/25, so they will be 11 weeks when they are ready for their new homes on 12/6/25. Sonny Dad is a Mini Australian Shepherd, under 20 pounds. Mom is a mix breed, probably some mini Aussie/Fox Terrier and maybe some Chihuahua, she is also under 20 pounds. They all have little 3/4 tails, they were born that way. They have had 1 distemper/Parvo vaccinations and a Bordetella. They will NOT be spayed/neutered, they are not old enough yet and they are still too small. The cost of the spay/neuter will be the responsibility of their new families. Our next adoption event will be 12/06/25. This is adoption day, if it doesn't work for you please wait until you are ready to apply. Thanks! Link to application http://fs6.formsite.com/savinemallrescueyahoocom/form1/index.html
