Story
Meet Blue! A charming 5-year-old canine residing in Middletown, NY. This handsome fellow is a delightful mix of Lab and Blue Heeler, boasting a unique and appealing appearance. Blue, a sturdy male weighing 60 pounds, has a heart as big as his size! Blue is a loving and people-friendly companion, always eager to share his affection with those around him. He thrives on human interaction and is known for his gentle demeanor. While Blue may not be fond of feline friends or most dogs, he more than compensates with his loyalty and devotion to his chosen human companion. Trained in basic commands, Blue is a well-mannered pooch who understands the importance of "sit," "stay," and "leave it." Blue's ideal home would include a large fenced backyard, providing him with ample space to run and play. Regular exercise is crucial for this energetic fellow, and he would flourish in an environment where he can enjoy daily activities with his human. Blue, with his endearing personality, is a great companion for those seeking a loyal friend! He revels in the company of his humans and has a particular affinity for toys and chew sticks. Neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, Blue is ready to join a loving family willing to meet his special dietary needs. It's important to note that Blue would thrive as the sole pet in the household, as he exhibits some aggression towards other dogs and cats due to his high prey drive. A fenced-in yard is not just a luxury but a necessity for this spirited pup. If you are looking for a devoted companion who will benefit from regular exercise, a loving heart, and a home equipped to accommodate his unique needs, Blue might just be the perfect addition to your family! Age: 2-3 yearsSex: femaleWeight: 45 lbsBreed: Red heeler mix Mabel is quite the treat!!! She is full of energy, has a HUGE personality and so much love to give. She absolutely loves toys and anything she can play with. She’s very self entertaining as well. She does need guidance with jumping as she gets so excited with human interaction. She is probably one of the sweetest gals we have and will make an amazing companion. She is dog selective, does not seem to mind cats when tested through a kennel and enjoys children. She needs an active family and we do believe she’ll do best as an only child. Her history is unknown and was a surrender to the shelter quite some time ago . ##1671181##

Story
Meet Bindi! She is about 1 year old, 30 lbs, and she likely has some heeler in her mix! In her foster home, she is working hard on house-training, and doing great with crate-training and leash-walking. She could go to a home with kids 10+, other active dogs, and dog-savvy cats. Her foster say, "Bindi is the sweetest little ball of energy. If you are looking for a fun furry partner to go walking, jogging, or running, look no more! Oh but wait! She also loves to curl up with you and snuggle up.She has a great temperament and she always seems happy. She has never torn up any of her toys oranything else. She's not a picky eater. She will eat any dry dog food. She just likes hot water over it. Shejust has so much love to give. And she doesn't mind if she's the only fur baby there or not. She will make a great addition to your family. She just wants someone to love her and that she can give all of her love to."She is available for adoption with an approved adopter in Dartmouth, MA on March 29th.
