Story
Meet Charlotte! Miss Charlotte came to us emaciated, sick, and trying to feed five two-and-a-half week old puppies. Charlotte is a survivor if we ever saw one! Charlotte is loving her life now that she's healthy. She was an incredible mama (and still is - two of her sons are still looking for homes!) and is now ready to move on to find her own family. Charlotte is likely about 2 years old. She loves to play and wrestle, and is actually getting pretty good at catch! She does a great job on leash and loves to go for walks - she can't wait to get out there and explore the world. Charlotte has loved every person she has met so far, and would make a wonderful companion for anyone who likes to socialize! She can be slightly dog-selective, meaning occasionally she does meet another dog she doesn't care for. We do think this is a result of the overcrowded, harshly competitive conditions she faced in the past. She was also in a position where she likely had to hunt for food, which means she does have a prey drive. She is currently doing well in her foster home with cats, but we wouldn't call her cat-friendly enough to be around them entirely unsupervised. Charlotte is potty trained, crate trained, and is definitely smart enough to learn any and all new skills you'd like to teach her! There's no limit to what we think this girl can do if given a chance. She loves to cuddle, and honestly just enjoys being the center of attention. We think Charlotte would thrive either as the only dog in the house or with a couple of other canine siblings. As long as there are people around, this beautiful lady is happy. If you enjoy frequent trips to Wiggle-town, this may be the perfect match for you and your family! Charlotte is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention, and microchipped. If you'd like to meet Charlotte, please fill out an adoption application at www.bbanimalrescue.org/adopt. If you have any questions about her, our adoption process, or anything else, please feel free to email us at contact@bbnimalrescue.org or call/text us anytime at 505-333-8980. **Adoption fee covers 3 DAPP vaccines + 2 lepto vaccines, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, microchip, and spay** **Adoptions are at events or by appointment only**

Meet Tapanga! This girl has the sweetest personality, she can be a little shy on first meetings but she warms up quickly. Tapanga loves to play fetch but she also loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. Tapanga had issues with another dog her size in her previous home, we think she may do best in a home with dogs smaller than her or as an only dog.Tapanga is at our Main Ranch location!Watermelon Mountain Ranch(Across from Cleveland High School)3251 Westphalia Blvd. NERio Rancho, NM 87144505-221-2359Wed-Sun 11am-4pm(adoptions and tours until 3pm)

Story
Meet Lilly! This beautiful 60 pound girl has such a beautiful story. Miss Lilly was an emotional support doggie to her owner who suddenly passed away. Right after, she was taken to the Bernalillo Shelter where she was soon put on their Euthanasia list. A friend of the lady who previously owned Lilly contacted us in hopes that we could save her as she knew what an amazing and sweet girl she was. Currently she is working with a trainer, who is helping her overcome her need to guard people. She is doing fantastic with her training and it letting all people come and love on her. The trainer is also willing to work with her in the home with whoever is interested in adopting her. She would need a mandatory trial adoption during this training period, to ensure everything goes smoothly.Lilly does need to be a single dog in the home.If you would like to meet Lilly, she is at our main ranch location, or you can email dogswmr@gmail.com.

Meet Ducky!Ducky is a fun loving, energetic, goofball. She can be a little weary of strangers but once she warms up she is incredibly sweet and playful. Ducky is a hyper girl and will need a lot of exercise and play in her future home to keep her mind busy. She loves going on long walks and runs or even just playing ball in the yard. Ducky is not fond of other dogs so she should be the only pet in the home.Ducky is at our Main Ranch location!Watermelon Mountain Ranch(Across from Cleveland High School)3251 Westphalia Blvd. NERio Rancho, NM 87144505-221-2359Wed-Sun 11am-4pm(adoptions and tours until 3pm)
