Meet Tapanga! This girl has the sweetest personality, she can be a little shy on first meetings but she warms up quickly. Tapanga loves to play fetch but she also loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. Tapanga had issues with another dog her size in her previous home, we think she may do best in a home with dogs smaller than her or as an only dog.Tapanga is at our Main Ranch location!Watermelon Mountain Ranch(Across from Cleveland High School)3251 Westphalia Blvd. NERio Rancho, NM 87144505-221-2359Wed-Sun 11am-4pm(adoptions and tours until 3pm)

Story
Meet Lilly! This beautiful 60 pound girl has such a beautiful story. Miss Lilly was an emotional support doggie to her owner who suddenly passed away. Right after, she was taken to the Bernalillo Shelter where she was soon put on their Euthanasia list. A friend of the lady who previously owned Lilly contacted us in hopes that we could save her as she knew what an amazing and sweet girl she was. Currently she is working with a trainer, who is helping her overcome her need to guard people. She is doing fantastic with her training and it letting all people come and love on her. The trainer is also willing to work with her in the home with whoever is interested in adopting her. She would need a mandatory trial adoption during this training period, to ensure everything goes smoothly.Lilly does need to be a single dog in the home.If you would like to meet Lilly, she is at our main ranch location, or you can email dogswmr@gmail.com.

Meet Ducky!Ducky is a fun loving, energetic, goofball. She can be a little weary of strangers but once she warms up she is incredibly sweet and playful. Ducky is a hyper girl and will need a lot of exercise and play in her future home to keep her mind busy. She loves going on long walks and runs or even just playing ball in the yard. Ducky is not fond of other dogs so she should be the only pet in the home.Ducky is at our Main Ranch location!Watermelon Mountain Ranch(Across from Cleveland High School)3251 Westphalia Blvd. NERio Rancho, NM 87144505-221-2359Wed-Sun 11am-4pm(adoptions and tours until 3pm)

Story
Meet Bellara!Bellara is sweet as can be! She loves to snuggle, play, and go on walks! Her favorite toys are lambchops but she can be a bit rough on them so a more durable alternative is recommended. Bellara is a bit chunky so regular walks and a good diet will be important in her future home. Bellara does not do well with small animals, she would do best in a home with larger dogs or where she is the only pet. She does display some signs of anxiety so someone who can be with her 24/7 would be ideal. Bellara is at our main ranch location!Watermelon Mountain Ranch(Across from Cleveland High School)3251 Westphalia Blvd. NERio Rancho, NM 87144505-221-2359Wed-Sun 11am-4pm(adoptions and tours until 3pm)

Story
Meet Cho!Cho means `beautiful` and this girl fits that perfectly with her stunning blue eye and gorgeous patterns. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people but she warms up quickly, once she is comfortable she is the biggest love bug. Cho can be very protective of her people, because of this we think she would do best as the only pet in her future home. She is very active and agile, she should go to a home where she will get lots of exercise and mental enrichment. Cho was kennel trained, potty trained, and dog door trained in her previous home.Cho is at our main ranch location!Watermelon Mountain Ranch(Across from Cleveland High School)3251 Westphalia Blvd. NERio Rancho, NM 87144505-221-2359Wed-Sun 11am-4pm(adoptions and tours until 3pm)

Story
Our sweet boy has been on a few trial runs, but he still hasn`t found his right fit! And Baxter is our handsome gentleman! At around 24lbs, Baxter is energetic, loving, funny and a very smart young dog! He gets along great with other dogs, and even cats; mainly because he came to us with a brother. But now that his brother has found his forever home, we think he needs to be in a home with another dog to play with, because he does get a bit of anxiety when left alone. He`d be best in a home with another dog that can match his level of play and energy. We highly recommend bringing your other dog along to meet him! He needs a home with a lot of activity and cuddles. He`s not super confident when it comes to large crowds, and walking in public yet, so he`s working with us and volunteers on how to socialize. Baxter is a wonderful young boy with a great heart and a lovable attitude! It`d be criminal to pass this sweet boy by!Baxter is at our Cottonwood Mall location!Going to the Dogs (& Cats)Resale Shop & Adoption CenterCottonwood Mall(2nd Level next to MOR Furniture)10000 Coors Bypass NWABQ NM 87114505-867-5347Mon-Sat 11-5pm.
