Story
Meet Paco – From Shy to Shine! Paco is a 2-year 4 month old Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighing in at a perfectly portable 32 pounds. When he first arrived at the shelter, Paco was shy and unsure, but after graduating from the Shy Dog Program, he’s truly come out of his shell and is ready to show the world who he is now. These days, Paco is energetic, playful, and full of life. He loves squeaker toys and balls, and he’s always up for playtime followed by plenty of cuddles and affection. He has a great balance of fun energy and loving companionship, making him an easy dog to enjoy both on the go and at home.Paco is friendly with people and does well with both male and female dogs. On a recent doggie day out to the Rail Yards Christmas Market, he handled the outing beautifully, showing off his social skills and calm demeanor in public. He’s also calm in the car, which makes him a great partner for adventures near and far.Paco was recently adopted by an older couple who adored him, but ultimately found his youthful energy to be more than they could keep up with. He’s now looking for a home that can match his enthusiasm for walks, playtime, and exploring the world. If you’re searching for a happy, confident, affectionate dog who’s left his shy days behind and is ready for an active, loving home, Paco may be the perfect fit for you

Story
Lola – 3-Year-Old Australian Cattle Dog MixLola is a sweet, energetic, and lovable 3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix who came to us with her puppies when her previous owner could no longer care for them. Despite her past, Lola is full of life and ready to find a new family to call her own! Lola is very strong on the leash and will need someone who can help her channel her energy. She’s friendly and playful, especially when it comes to treats in the play yard—she’s definitely a fan! Although she doesn’t quite know how to sit yet and can get a little too excited to focus at times, Lola’s enthusiasm is infectious. She’s a social girl and loves meeting new people, though she can be a bit hesitant around unfamiliar situations, but warmed up quickly. Lola also met other dogs through the fence and seemed eager to make new friends, showing she’s got a playful spirit and would likely do well with a canine companion, but a meet and greet is always recommended to ensure a good match for all. Lola is a sweet, affectionate pup who just needs a little patience and guidance to help her grow into the best version of herself. She’s ready for a loving home where she can continue to thrive!
