Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This pretty Penny is patiently waiting for her forever family to find her. We'll never know what happened before she was abandoned & became a Diamond but we do know she had someone who loved her at some point. Penny is a smart, loveable girl & came to us with a head start on training; she knows commands like down, sit, stay and off. Penny's crate is her "safe base" and comfort zone. Her foster dad will often find her in there when she needs a nap or just some alone time. She doesn't have to be crated when she's alone but you'll want to make sure everyone's shoes are put away! Our girl has a bit of a shoe addiction, lol. Penny's ideal home will be able to provide the routine, consistency and patience she needs to thrive. She'd enjoy a fenced in yard to run around and play in but as an adult dog, daily walks and playtime would also meet her exercise needs. She doesn't get along with cats or other dogs but she loves all humans! We're recommending only older, respectful children 10 years and up due to Penny's love of collecting & sometimes resource guarding items that don't belong to her (shoes, socks, etc.). We don't know for sure but with as much as she enjoys searching & finding "treasures", Penny might be a good candidate for nose work or increasingly challenging dog treat puzzles. After all, girls just wanna have fun! If you're looking for a wonderful companion to make your house feel like a home, please fill out an application to find out if this sweetie is the "lucky" Penny for you! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. &#226&#150&#186 We do not adopt to Canada  due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation &#226&#150&#186 We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Buzz is a young energetic pup looking for structure and socialization.  He's got a lot of energy and nowhere to put it.  He takes a minute to warm up but, loves treats and pets.  A home with a fenced yard or active that will take him on walks or to an agility class would be ideal. Buzz is good with cats, he actually ignores the cats he resides with and allows them to rub on him.  We don't know about dogs.  He is currently frustrated with pent up energy, and we feel he would do best in a home with older considerate kids and get some structure, exercise and decompression before seeing how he'd be with other dogs.  An obedience class where he can learn the basics around other dogs would help him tremendously. He knows sit and down but, not his other commands, yet.  He is very treat motivated.  However, in a new place with new smells, sights and sounds he loses focus on you and the treats.  With some socialization and basic training, that will improve. Duke is an 8 year old purebred Australian Cattle Dog. He is up-to-date on all vaccines, neutered, has no known health issues, and recently had a full work-up with clear bloodwork and no heartworm or tick-borne illnesses to speak of. Duke is fully house-trained, knows basic commands and adores people. He loves playing ball and has dabbled in both agility and scent work. He’s truly down for any adventure as long as he gets to be by your side! Duke must be in a dog free and cat free household as he does not get along with other pets. He is currently being fostered by Akron Animal Hospital while he searches for his forever home.

Story
Odessa is a 2 year old, 35lb Australian Cattle Dog mix and she’s cute as can be!!! She has a very bubbly, happy-go-lucky personality and is always wiggling! She can be shy around strangers, but will still give you some tail wags and take treats. Once she’s comfortable she loves to get the zoomies, play with toys, and give kisses! Odessa is cat neutral, loves to play with dogs of all sizes, walks great on a leash and naturally checks in, and crates well. Odessa is another dog that TLC Rescue saved and nursed back to health after being kept in deplorable conditions with 60+ dogs by a hoarder. Despite the scrapes and scars from her past, this sweet girl is so ready to finally have a family to call her own! Odessa is fully vetted and ready for adoption, but you can always try our foster-to-adopt program if you want to make sure she’s the perfect fit for you. If you’re interested in adopting Odessa or getting pre-approved for any of our other dogs, please fill out an adoption application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt

Meet Jack, our affectionate and lively 2-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd! Jack is a vibrant companion looking for his forever home through no fault of his own. He was adopted through the Humane Society and has been a cherished member of our family, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to provide him with the care and attention he deserves. Jack is incredibly loving, friendly, playful, and intelligent. He loves to explore the outdoors, go for walks, and engage in interactive playtime. Jack would thrive in a home with an active lifestyle, where he can receive plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. A fenced yard would be ideal for him to safely explore and play. He would do well with an adopter who can dedicate time to training and socialization to help her reach his full potential. Help Jack find his happily ever after! 🐾

Did my beautiful coat and striking eyes catch your attention? I'm Fern, a sweet yet reserved gal looking for a place to call my own. While it may take some time for us to get to know each other, I promise it will be worth it! I'm a bouncy and fun-loving girl at heart that's just as happy to play fetch in the yard as I am to climb in your lap. I'll need to find an experienced home with someone that understands my activity needs and is able to provide all kinds of physical and mental exercise.
