Story
Say hello to sweet little Orchid! Orchid is almost 1 year old and a sweet snuggle bug. She is an Aussie mix but only around 35 pounds so we think she might be mixed with beagle or another medium sized breed. Orchid is crate trained and stays quiet in her crate all night and when her foster humans are at work. She knows to go potty outside, how to sit, and understands what "no" means. She can be a little timid and shy when she meets new fur friends but just needs some time to settle in. She is very food/treat motivated and loves to keep busy with her peanut butter filled Kong. She enjoys playing, chewing on bones and toys, and giving lots of kisses and snuggles to her humans. If you think she would be a perfect fit visit www.buffalounderdogs.com and apply to adopt! ##1491469##

His owner moved out and sadly left him behind with her mother who was unable to care for him and take on the responsibility. Shelter life can be very scary/sad/confusing for a dog that has had a home for 6 years of his life, but Simba is literally the happiest boy! He is so friendly and has not met a stranger he doesn't like, is dog friendly, and LOVES his toys. His favourite thing to do is run around in the play yard with a squeaky toy or a ball. Even though he is 6 years old Simba is still a puppy at heart! He would love to be taken on fun adventures and included in daily activities with his family. He knows to sit on command and is an overall good boy! Additional Info: Do you believe in love at first sight or do I need to walk by again? Most girls say they don't want a playa but I'm the playa all ladies want in their life.. a ball playa! You heard it right, I'm up for a good game of fetch all the time! You like a little adventure but crave a little relaxation time too? I'm the man of your dreams! I love a little rest with a good treat throughout the day. Looking for commitment with the adventure buddy of my dreams. I can be your personal Lion King!

Story
Brook is an 8 month old sweet little collie mix. She is the last of her litter to be adopted. Why? You ask... Well it started in September of 2022 when an unwanted litter was sent down the river in Texas at 2 weeks old, luckily Brook and all of her siblings were rescued by a caring person. By the time Brook got to her foster home in Buffalo NY,in January 2023, she was one very scared little girl. It's been a long process but this little girl has over come most of her fears and her confidence has much improved. Brook will need a special home where she will continue to feel comfortable and loved. She will do well in a home with another four legged friend, a non dominent dog or even a friendly cat. She loves to play and run. She loves her chew toys and stealing your socks and slippers. She loves snacks and belly rubs before bed. She is fully potty trained and is really improving on leash walking. She has gained so much trust and does well with quieter humans. She is still learning to adjust to loud noises but they can still make her scared. Brook does'nt have a mean bone in her body.  She is super sweet with just the right amount of mischievous behavior. If your the special family that can give her the love and security she deserves, please fill out an adoption application to meet this girl ##1631092##

Story
ErnieMaleBorder Collie/Great Pyrenees14 Weeks Old20 lbsHi- my name is Ernie! I'm looking for a home with a family. I'd love some kids, but if not --that's ok too.  I'd also be cool with another dog, but maybe not so much cats because I like to play A LOT!I like to follow people around and snuggle against them until they pet me, or give me snacks. I've found I really love to roll in the grass in the morning, and sunbathe in the afternoon with my buddies when I'm not chasing and playing with them in the yard. I'm working on sit, and lay down and I know my name. I don't like my crate because I want to be with my human friends, but I quiet down after a bit of complaining. I also do a pretty good job of going potty outside, but I'm not 100% yet. My foster mommy says I am a SUPER smart boy. I listen when she tells me "no" about something and I remember! My only toxic trait would be that I came to Buffalo starving. I need to be crated when preparing meals, separated from other animals when eating, and a puzzle mat to prevent horking my food too fast. I don't get aggressive, I just am going to try and eat everyone's meals too. I am getting better because I know my meals come regularly now! The plus side to this is that I am very food motivated which means I'll be easy to train! Can I come be your forever snuggle buddy? If you're interested in adopting Ernie apply at 716paws.org/adopt or if you're preapproved message the rescue!  ##1714028##
