Our pets are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can deliver to your location or one of our north eastern delivery locations. We have a transporter who delivers north ever other week. Aggie came from a local shelter along with her pups. Aggie was surrendered because she was VERY PROTECTIVE over her puppies. The former owner had a small child in the home and she was concerned about her toddler's well being. Aggie had always been perfect with her family until her pups were born. Being a protective first time mom is ONLY NATURAL and to be expected, The shelter knew my love for heelers and they knew I would be patient with her. I have handled Aggie extensively and she is a good girl. She would be better with women verses men. She is good with other dogs and I think she would be great on a working farm. That is where she came from, a working farm. She would be best with an active person and she would not do well cooped up in a small apartment all day. SHE IS A WORKING DOG. She is crate trained. She will go to her new home current on vaccines, heartworm tested(neg), current on preventives, deworming and microchipped. She will be spayed. She will receive a complete physical and a certificate of health issued by my vet prior to going home.The adopter will get all her health records with adoption. Vera is ready to find her forever home, but has a few requestsâ€¦- Must provide copious amounts of belly rubs.- Allow her to become your second shadow.- Must play with her and alllllll the toys!- No other doggies, please!- Needs a couch and endless snuggles.- Snacks, She likes snacksNow for the important details: Vera prefers to be the queen of her castle and requires a home with no other dogs, please. She has not been tested with Cats and we are unsure of her background as she was found abandoned. Vera is potty and crate trained. She also does very well out of the crate when left alone. She is looking for a home with a fenced in yard and no kids due to her herding instincts. She will come with her big Jolly Ball which she absolutely LOVES and will play with it for hours outside if you let her.Another important note: Vera is very fearful of strangers and needs slow introductions outside of the home first or will need to be crated when guests are over.
