Story
This was from one of her recent posts. You can edit and remove things if you need too 😊Are you tired of going to bathroom alone? Need an exercise buddy? Searching for a protector to save you from brooms, vacuums and loud machines? Looking to add a little excitement to your life maybe? Well, look no further! Vera is ready to find her forever home, but has a few requests…- Must provide copious amounts of belly rubs.- Allow her to become your second shadow.- Must play with her and alllllll the toys!- No other doggies, please!- Needs a couch and endless snuggles.- Snacks, She likes snacksNow for the important details: Vera prefers to be the queen of her castle and requires a home with no other dogs, please. She has not been tested with Cats and we are unsure of her background as she was found abandoned. Vera is potty and crate trained. She also does very well out of the crate when left alone. She is looking for a home with a fenced in yard and no kids due to her herding instincts. She will come with her big Jolly Ball which she absolutely LOVES and will play with it for hours outside if you let her.Another important note: Vera is very fearful of strangers and needs slow introductions outside of the home first or will need to be crated when guests are over. Her new adopter will also need to agree on attending private training lessons with Nick at Critical Canine Development which her Foster Mom has graciously offered to Sponsor to ensure her new owner(s) understand Vera and her needs when it comes to other dogs and meeting new people.Vera responds quickly with an E-Collar and it’s recommended to continue the use of one even if it’s just set to vibrate. She upholds the Cattle Dog Stubbornness and tries to be a Boss Lady, but with continued training and patience she will reward you with so much love in return. I cannot stress enough that she REALLY does love her people and literally just wants to play and be given pets/belly rubs all day, every day.Do you or someone you know fit her needs? If so, please visit our website and apply today! Please submit an Adoption Application here: www.rocthedogsrescue.com

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in Mt.Airy, Nc until they are adopted. Once they are adopted we an transport to your location or one of our other north eastern locations. Our transporter runs every other Friday. Baby Girl is a red heeler. She was born 6-27-20. She is a smaller girl, around 35 pounds. It is typical of the females of this breed to be smaller than the males. We pulled her from a high intake shelter knowing she was heartworm positive (not many groups will take heartworm positive dogs due to the large expense of treating them). We had her treated for heartworms and she is cleared to go to her new home now. Baby Girl is an absolute doll of a dog. She is great with people. She likes other dogs and she does not seem to mind the cats here either. She is crate trained and potty trained. She is an active dog, she is a working dog. She needs to be matched up with an active owner who has heeler experience. She will not do well cooped up in a small cramped apartment all day. She would be great to teach agility to or train in other fun games that heelers excel at. She needs a job, even if it is not working cattle(they are cattle dogs)! So it will be up to her person to give her the stimulation and physical activity she will be need. This girl is spayed and will go home current on all vaccines, deworming, flea prevention on heartworm prevention(current negative heartworm test), and microchipped. This girl will receive a completed physical and certificate of health issued by our vet prior to transport. The adopter will get all the health records with the adoption. We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can find that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

He is searching for his furever home with the help of One Love Dog Rescue.  Jack was surrendered due to behaviors that are typical to the breeds he is mixed with. He is currently in a training program at Future K9 Care in Ontario, NY and he is doing very well.  His perfect home will have adults only and people who are understanding of his specific needs. The goal is for him to be adopted locally so that he can continue and maintain his training at Future K9.  Jack LOVES playing with other dogs, treats, hiking, and fetch! He does take a small amount of time to warm up to new people but once he does- he will be your right-hand man! He knows a lot of commands and is great on leash. He is still working on his manners in public and with new people.  Please contact One Love Dog Rescue directly for inquiries on Jack at: adopt@onelovedogrescue.org Link to their Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/OneLoveDogRescue/      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. &#226&#150&#186 We do not adopt to Canada  due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation &#226&#150&#186 We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment.
