Boston is good with people once they give her a chance to meet them! She had disabled old people living in her home and did great! She is having a personal conflict with a small dog in the house and I need to keep them apart! Conflict usually involves food! Boston has done agility and nosework and walks well on lease! She is crate trained and goes in willingly with a treat!

In Memory of Edgar Allen PomHomer was born around March 1, 2019 and weighs around 55 pounds.   He will be your cling on dog.  Homer enjoys a bit of wading in the pond and isn't a noisy boy - which we really love.  With his red and white merle there is likely some healer in there but judging by his facial structure and the perk to his ears there may be a splash of pitty in there to round things out nicely - we are truly guessing at breed.  We feel you will agree that he is gorgeous and those amazingly soft, loving, eyes are spectacular - all he wants is love and a biscuit now and then.  It was not easy getting a good photo of his face as he was usually so close to me.  He's been a lovely house guest.     7/2023 Homer AKA Pierce was returned to us recently because he wanted all the attention in the home and no longer appreciated his fur siblings competing for the human's attention.  Pierce really, really, adores his humans so much so that he should be the only dog in the home. His humans were devastated to have to let him go and remarked how absolutely perfect he was minus the jealousy.   The Adoption Fee for this dog is $425.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
