His handler says “Raymond is smart, very affectionate, loves to cuddle and sleep with you. He loves to play with other dogs but more than anything he wants to please his humans.” We cannot understand why this handsome fella is still here. He only wants affection and cuddles with his people. Currently, he is in our DASH Prison Training Program where he is excelling with basic commands like “sit, stay, down, wait, and leave it.” He is being set up for success in his new home.  He is housebroken and does well in his crate (although he would rather be next to his person). The only training he needs your help with is not pulling while walking. Like most young dogs, Raymond can be excitable when he sees new people. This can lead to him jumping and pulling. As quickly as he learns, it likely won’t take long to correct this behavior. He will just need continued guidance and practice with you as he acclimates to his new environment. Raymond loves to be outdoors to run and play, a yard or somewhere to run would be ideal. He has not been kid or cat-tested yet, so proper introductions will be necessary.
