Story
Nico is a 2 year old frenchy, red heeler mix. He is sweet and gental, and such a lovey boy. Nico needs more room than what we have to give him. He love to run and play fetch. He love to hurd our cats, our Pug, and our 10 year old son. He is very smart and with a person who knows what they are doing (unlike me) I have been told, he would be easy to train. He can be a bit of a scaredy-cat. When he is unsure. Nico would be great on a farm for animals to take care of or, someone who is very active that wants a buddy. We are not re-homing him because we have fallen out of love with him. We love him very much and it will be hard to see him go. But he needs more. We want him to have the best life and we feel like we are holding him back. Re-homeing fee negotiable to the right home.

Story
Looking for a canine partner that is already professionally trained? Look no further than Vinny! Vinny came to Sanctuary One from a high kill shelter back in June. The shelter staff sent numerous videos of him interacting with dogs, children etc. and he did great! Once he arrived he was fine with our other shelter dogs and staff. Vinny was adopted but returned because he started resource guarding food, toys etc. This was not a behavior we had seen from him prior to being adopted. Our volunteer dog trainers from Companion Canine took Vinny home for a 2 week crash course where he learned to have manners and we found out that he is really smart and loves his training sessions! Here is the video the trainers made of him: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-FxCGpywk_f13IbfggqC2cMwZiCIAl-_/view Vinny is an amazing little guy but will need an adopter that is willing to keep up on his training. He is super smart and would excel in scent work or advanced obedience training. He has retained all of his training since he has been back with us. Vinny is very sweet, he loves to give hugs! If Vinny sounds like a match for you, please put in your Adoption Application today: https://sanctuaryone.org/rescue-animals/adopt-us/adoption-application/

Story
Meet Dottie!  Dottie is a sweet and affectionate young girl. She would love to go on hikes, runs, and just about any other adventure you could think of! She walks well on leash and is starting to learn her other basics such as 'Sit' and 'Wait'. She is very attentive to her handler and incredibly eager to learn.  She has perfect car manners and is ready to be your shotgun rider! Dottie has had a few doggy pals here at the Ranch and would likely love a home with a friend or two to romp around with! She may be a little awkward at first when meeting a new dog but she quickly initiates a nice play bow and shows off her slappy paws. She can often be seen zooming around her yard with her butt tucked and ears back for as much speed as she can muster! You will surely have a good laugh watching this happy girl play.  Dottie isn't all run and play, she enjoys a nice quiet cuddle session from time to time as well. She tends to lean into your hands and give gentle kisses to her people. She also does very well in the bath. She stands very still and doesn't show much touch sensitivity. Do you think you need Miss Dottie in your life? Call the Ranch to meet her today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Hi, my name is Dallas. I am a 4 year old male Texas Blue Lacy mix. My mama passed away so my auntie had to find me a new place to live. I am very calm and I am great with other dogs. I am shy when meeting new people, but once I warm up, I love to give kisses and get pets. I love the child in my foster home. I really love long walks and even going jogging with my foster mom. I am in a foster home with other animals including chickens, rabbits, and sheep, but I don’t pay them any attention. They aren’t any fun to play with.
