Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/bz2dVFYoSq4 Mickey is a 1 year old blue heeler mix who is the sweetest boy. He loves other dogs of all sizes and is great with cats too. He is energetic when outside and loves the water but is a big ole cuddle bug as well and will put his chin on your leg to get petted, wave his paw at you to get your attention, and sometimes even do a dance. He is also absolutely gorgeous. He walks well on the leash and is good in a crate too. He found himself at a high kill shelter where his time was up as more stray dogs came in. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm test (negative) Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Jetta is a stunning older puppy who had been in the shelter since February 1st when she was just 5lbs and 8 weeks old. Her time was up and she was going to be put to sleep due to lack of space. We pulled her from the shelter once we saw her post. Seeking a home with another dog friend for Jetta. She REALLY loves other dogs and they boost her confidence! - 33lbs and 7 months old - Possibly a Heeler/Pit Bull/Shepherd if we were guessing her breed mix - She is a wonderfully petite girl who likely will mature to around 38lbs full grown. Jetta is a really nice size! - Shy but very loving and bonds quickly with people - Looking for a calm and patient home that will gently expose her to everyday sights and sounds as she didn't get much life exposure in the shelter - Excellent house manners - Sleeps in her crate at night and does well crated - Doing well with potty training but still needs supervision and routine - Great with other dogs large and small - Good with cats and has been fostered with cats for 2+ weeks in a foster home - Cuddly and enjoys snuggle time with humans - Has been great with calmer, older children but rowdy, very active kids are a little too much for her and she hides. - Has been good with recall Jetta is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, and is current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin or Portland. $250 adoption fee Fostered in Portland, Oregon Apply to adopt Jetta on our website: www.agavedogs.org

Story
Meet Merlin, the powerful wizard! This young boy will surely bring lots of wonder and magic into anyone's life. He loves his doggy pals as well as his two-legged human friends! We don't know much about Merlin's start in life other than he was abandoned with the rest of his litter not far from Rescue Ranch in Yreka CA. While he was reasonably timid at first he quickly learned that we weren't so bad and showed off his goofy and playful personality. He has been amazing in playgroups and loves making new canine friends wherever he goes.
