Honeycrisp came to us with two very young puppies after they had been dumped in a rural orchard in California. Honeycrisp was an amazing, wonderful and gentle momma but now her pups are adopted and she's ready to find a loving home of her own. - Approximately 2 years old and 45 pounds - We aren't sure her breed mix but she would be a fun one for a future adopter to DNA test! - Medium energy. Can be playful and has a nice play style but also loves to relax and cuddle on the couch. - Good with other dogs and fostered with 5 small breed dogs. - Cats unknown - We haven't seen her with children but imagine she would be fine with gentle kiddos - Can be a tad shy at first but she is a total best friend material dog if you give her just a little time - Excellent with potty habits - Doing well with crate training - Still a little rusty on leash but her foster is working diligently with her on that. Her pups just left for new homes on October 20th so she's finally getting some leash training in. Honeycrisp is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery at our vet in SW Portland on October 29th. She can go home prior to that if her adopters sign a spay contract and get her to the surgery appointment. WINCHESTER 12 wks, 8 lbs Male Kelpie/heeler/coonhound   LIKES: WINCHESTER is full of snuggles and is friendly and active. He loves wrestling and playing with other pups.    DISLIKES: None.   POTTY TRAINING: Work in progress. Keeping him on a regular schedule and a crate at night will help with success.   CRATE TRAINING: He sleeps in a wire pen at night and that should translate well to a wire crate.   OTHER/MISC.: This wonderful boy will be a great companion dog for an active home. He loves walks and hiking, chasing, digging, chewing, obedience training, and watching TV. He loves to learn, and is food motivated. Joey is fully house broken and crate trained, and he knows most basic commands - “come, sit, stay, drop it, leave it, up, down, gentle, look, and crate”. He is good on a leash and well tempered on walks, not reactive towards people or dogs passing by. So far he has proven great with most all other dogs, and loves to play with older kids (but he was too much for the little ones under 6yrs old). And he did well when meeting goats and horses, although does not have experience with them yet. Joey has never met a cat, as far as I know, and would probably like to chase it.
