What my friends at OHS say about me:I really enjoy the company of my human friends.I am still learning how to walk on leash, especially in new environments that can be overwhelming. I need verbal encouragement, patience and of course treats from you to help me!I love to be around people! I'd make a great buddy for curling up on the couch to watch a movie.I am blind and will need consistency and routine in my new home and day-to-day life.Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment. The type of home I'm looking for:It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process. Story
Mac is the kind of dog who brings a sense of adventure into your life. He’s curious, smart, and independent—always exploring, always discovering, and always ready for whatever the day holds. Mac spends his days exploring the woods, checking out the ponds, and just enjoying being a dog. He loves water, loves movement, and has that natural confidence that makes life with him feel fun and engaging. He’s affectionate and friendly, but not needy—he’s happy to be part of your world while still doing his own thing. That balance makes him both enjoyable and easy to live with. He’s expected to grow into a larger dog and will thrive in a home that enjoys the outdoors or wants a companion for daily activity and exploration. Good fit: someone who wants a smart, adventurous dog to share life with—walks, hikes, exploring, and everyday experiences. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $550 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
Nile is pure puppy joy from head to tail. He is a bright, outgoing little guy with an endless amount of energy and a big, happy heart. At around two months old, Nile is already full of personality and excitement, always ready to explore, play, and discover something new. He is the type of puppy who brings life and energy wherever he goes. Nile loves to bounce around, interact, and be part of the action. Whether he’s chasing after toys, engaging with people, or just happily trotting around, he approaches everything with enthusiasm and curiosity. Watch his YouTube video now. https://youtu.be/cpmgs8abbUo?si=l2Zs82XIfedq6I86 But beyond his playful energy, Nile is also incredibly sweet and affectionate. After he’s had his fun, he’s more than happy to come back for love, snuggles, and attention. He thrives on connection and enjoys being around people who will give him the time and guidance he needs as he grows. Nile is looking for a family who will embrace his energetic spirit and help shape him into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. In return, he promises a lifetime of laughter, loyalty, and joyful companionship. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69c698953aff616c9a0d239b Questions?
