Story
Nile is pure puppy joy from head to tail. He is a bright, outgoing little guy with an endless amount of energy and a big, happy heart. At around two months old, Nile is already full of personality and excitement, always ready to explore, play, and discover something new. He is the type of puppy who brings life and energy wherever he goes. Nile loves to bounce around, interact, and be part of the action. Whether he’s chasing after toys, engaging with people, or just happily trotting around, he approaches everything with enthusiasm and curiosity. Watch his YouTube video now. https://youtu.be/cpmgs8abbUo?si=l2Zs82XIfedq6I86 But beyond his playful energy, Nile is also incredibly sweet and affectionate. After he’s had his fun, he’s more than happy to come back for love, snuggles, and attention. Rusty is a soft, calm, and cuddly little boy with a heart full of love. At just around two months old, he already shows a naturally gentle and easygoing personality that makes him such a comforting presence to be around. Rusty enjoys the simple things in life—warm cuddles, gentle attention, and being close to his people. He is happiest when he can snuggle in, relax, and feel safe and loved. His calm nature makes him especially sweet and endearing, and he has a way of making everyone around him feel at ease. Check out how cute he is in his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/cpmgs8abbUo?si=l2Zs82XIfedq6I86 While he does enjoy playing, Rusty tends to lean more toward the calm and cozy side of puppy life. He’s not overly wild or energetic, which makes his affectionate and mellow personality stand out even more. Rusty is the kind of puppy who will grow into a loyal, loving companion who enjoys quiet moments just as much as time spent together. He’s looking for a family who will cherish his gentle spirit and give him all the https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69c6987d1ddd7cf4020875bc Questions? Story
Beau is a 1.5 year old dog who joined our family a bit over a year ago from Safe Haven. He is gentle with the cat and young children he lives with and sociable/playful with dogs at the dog park. He loves to swim in the Willamette/Mary's River, walk trails, and chase his ball. He can go to his new home with previous adoption paperwork, vet records, toys, bed/hutch, and remaining doses of Simparica Trio. In the fall his paws developed inflammation, but after treatment it cleared up and has not returned. He is due for a wellness visit, and rabies and kennel cough vaccines. He’s affectionate and friendly but has had issues with anxiety, so an owner who can be home frequently and give consistent attention would be ideal. We would love for him to have a yard and/or someone who enjoys daily activity—walks, playtime, and mental enrichment to help him stay active. Rehoming him was a difficult decision and we want to find him a loving, patient family who can commit to him long-term.

Story
Tinley is the kind of dog who makes you slow down and smile without even trying—she’s soft-eyed, sweet-hearted, and has the most effortlessly lovable, calm presence. With her gentle nature, quiet confidence, and the most adorable little no-tail wiggle that somehow still says “I’m happy to see you,” Tinley is pure comfort wrapped in a dog. She doesn’t demand attention—she invites it—and when you give her love, she takes it in the sweetest, most grateful way. Tinley is about four years old and is believed to be a cattle dog and husky mix—a perfect blend of brains, heart, and just the right amount of personality wrapped into one beautifully unique girl. Even without a tail, she’s an expert communicator. Her happiness shows in her soft expressions, relaxed body language, and the calm way she leans into you when she’s feeling content. That little tail-less charm only adds to her uniqueness and makes her even more special. Check out how chill she is in her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/sKLPrVjfs5c?si=GIpmUJBAbxJGCZU1 She carries herself with a calm, easy energy—never demanding, never overwhelming—just a quiet little companion who is perfectly content to simply be by your side. If you’re looking for a dog who will match your chill vibe, Tinley might just be your perfect match. She absolutely loves affection and will happily lean in for pets and cuddles when you offer them. Tinley is the kind of dog who appreciates love without needing to be the center of attention all the time. She enjoys her people, but she also enjoys doing her own thing—whether that’s relaxing, observing the world, or just soaking up a peaceful moment. She’s the ultimate “I’m here, I love you, but I’m also just vibing” kind of companion. When it comes to other dogs, Tinley has shown that she’s social in her own calm, respectful way. She has met a variety of dogs with different energy levels and handled those interactions beautifully. Tinley prefers polite, low-pressure interactions and isn’t particularly interested in dogs that are overly in her space or trying to constantly engage her in play. She’ll coexist peacefully, take her time, and simply do her own thing. Because of her personality, she would do best with another dog who respects her space and doesn’t expect constant playtime—or she would be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, soaking up all the love for herself. Tinley also met a cat and did well, showing a calm and respectful attitude. She may be able to live with a cat, though she would need further testing to be fully confirmed. Either way, her gentle and easygoing nature shines through in all of her interactions. While she hasn’t met kids yet, Tinley gives off every indication that she would do wonderfully in a home with children. She is calm, patient, and incredibly gentle, especially when taking treats—always soft and polite. Her demeanor suggests she would be a loving, steady presence in a family home. Tinley is also a fantastic leash walker. She enjoys her walks and moves at a nice, easy pace, making her a great companion for strolls around the neighborhood. And if you’re someone who enjoys a good car ride, Tinley is your girl—she’s a true passenger princess who settles in beautifully and enjoys the ride like a pro. In terms of lifestyle, Tinley is very adaptable. She could thrive in an apartment as long as she gets her daily walks and quality time with her person, or she could live happily in a house with a yard. Her easy temperament makes her a great fit for a variety of living situations—she’s just happy to be included and loved. Tinley isn’t the type of dog who needs constant action or high-energy play. Instead, she offers something just as special—peaceful companionship, gentle affection, and a calm presence that makes every moment feel a little more relaxed and a little more joyful. She’s the kind of dog who quietly wins your heart and becomes your little shadow in the sweetest way. If you’re searching for a laid-back, loving, and truly good girl with the best chill vibes—and the most charming little no-tail wiggle—Tinley is ready to meet you and start her next chapter. She’s got so much love to give—she’s just waiting for the right person to share her calm, happy world with. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
