What we know about Gus: 💢Great with dogs 💢Great with kids (has lived with kids and another dog previously) 💢Awesome temperament 💢Calm, great on a leash 💢About 1.5 years old 💢Potty trained 💢Crate trained 💢Loves snuggles 💢Recovering from demodex mange (not contagious) but will require a few more medicated baths to help with continued healing We think he could be a heeler/boxer mix because of the speckles but we truly still don’t have a great idea about breed. The regrowth of hair didn’t help us with this as much as we thought it would 😂 We wanted to note that since Gus had demodex mange, this means he is genetically predisposed to contract this again if he does not take preventatives regularly. 💊 He is currently doing very well on Simparica Trio (combined monthly flea/tick and heartworm medication)!
