Story
Beautiful Callie is house-trained, affectionate, and loves to play - fetch, tug-of-war, you name it! She's happiest outside, whether she's going for a walk or running around a fenced yard. She's got plenty of energy and even more love to give. But Callie's also a timid girl who's still learning to trust the world around her. Loud noises and new situations can be scary, so she needs a patient, gentle adopter who's willing to go at her pace. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through - and she'll be your loyal shadow for life. She'd do best as the only pet in a quiet, understanding home where she can really settle in and feel secure. Callie is in foster care. To meet her, please call the shelter at 865-425-3423 (press zero) or fill out an application here, http://tinyurl.com/ORAS-Adoption-Application Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Red Weight: 51 Age: 2yrs 11mths 2wks

Maggie is around 2to3 yrs old. She was surrendered by owner after being hit by a car. Her L rear leg is amoutated. She does not let that slow her down. Wonderful indoor manners. Needs a fenced yard. She is very loving. Needs some work on outdoor manners i.e. coming when called when she is distracted. She is very intelligent and wants to please. Likes riding in a car. She bonds readily. Not a picky eater. Has lots of energy but does not require crating when left alone. She will be a wonderful companion.

Story
Sweet Dixie has been at the rescue for a little over a year. The group of dogs that she entered care with were quickly adopted out. She is still waiting. Dixie was a young mom who had to scrounge for food while living outside. She no longer has to wonder where her next meal is coming from, but she is still wondering when someone will choose her. Dixie is an energetic girl who just wants to be near her human - she prefers women. She loves to roll in the grass in the sunshine and take walks. Dixie is energetic and enjoys running around at a dog park. Being a heeler, she is very smart and quick to learn. She really wants to please. Dixie would love to find a home where she feels secure and can be active. She will need time to settle in and get used to the routines of the household. Dixie is a sweet girl with a lot of love to give. She is not good with cats and is dog selective.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
