OUT OF STATE TRANSPORT available for an additional fee. What we know about Gus: 💢Great with dogs 💢Great with kids (has lived with kids and another dog previously) 💢Awesome temperament 💢Calm, great on a leash 💢About 1.5 years old 💢Potty trained 💢Crate trained 💢Loves snuggles Gus came to us extremely underweight, nearly bald, with open wounds all over his body due to Demodex mange. He has since recovered fully and is ready to find his forever family! Gus was far too interested in the cats when we cat tested him as his herding instincts are present with these types of animals. However, he is great with other dogs and we use him to help introduce new dogs to the rescue. Gus has gone out on multiple Doggie Day Outs and did so well each time! He was his happiest self at the dog park with his rescue buddy (Folly) who has since been adopted. He likes to meet new people and go for car rides! We think he could be a heeler mix because of the speckles but we truly still don’t have a great idea about breed. The regrowth of hair didn’t help us with this as much as we thought it would 😂 Note: Since Gus has a history of Demodex mange, this means he is genetically predisposed to this condition if he does not take flea/tick prevention regularly. He is currently on Simparica Trio and doing so well. Please let us know if you have any questions about this condition! Microchipped, up to date on shots and monthly preventatives

Hi! My name is Destiny!! I’m a spunky girl that loves to run and play! Though my FAVORITE thing to do is lay my head on you and get belly rubs! If you put a treat in smelling distance, I’ll show you all the awesome things I can do like sit, down, place, and I’ll even come right to you when you give me the release command! I’m a super smart girl. I really don’t know why I haven’t been adopted yet, I was found as a stray 2 YEARS ago and was brought to a humane society in Mississippi, where I sat for a year, until a wonderful rescue in Tennessee took the chance and brought me up to Tennessee in hopes to find a home! My care takers have been doing everything they can to find the right home for me, but unfortunately I’ve been in rescue over a year now. I do love to play with my medium/large breed doggie friends, I like that we can wrestle and tumble around! I try to get kitties and little dogs to rough it up with us big dogs, but I get to rough with them and I would do best in a home with other medium/large breed dogs! I even do good with kids 10+! I would love to join your family if you think I’d fit your lifestyle!! I’ll be the bestest girl, just give me a chance! Story
Hello, my name is Dove. I am a shy girl that would love to have a chance to warm up to you! I was rescued from a hoarding situation over 2 YEARS AGO where I was not allowed to socialize with other humans. I have been in the shelter or foster care ever since and I would really love a home to call my own. Once I warm up to you, I am the most loving and happiest furbaby around! My rescue mom says you can receive help from her to transition into your home! I prefer to be around people that know and respect my boundaries and are willing to take their time to let me warm up to you. I will hide to feel safe. While I may be shy with new humans, my rescue mom used me as a peer model to introduce new dogs to our rescue when I was there! Yep, I am cool as a cucumber with new dogs and respect their space but still love to play! My rescue mom (woofwoof fosters) works with a dog trainer and has already had me evaluated! Dove is currently in a foster home with a number of other dogs (big and small) as well as a cat and has done wonderful with them. She warmed up to her new human foster family even quicker than we could have anticipated! This girl is so resilient! She loves to snuggle in bed after trust is established and use pillows like a human! Please remember the 3,3,3 rule (3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the routine, and 3 months to feel at home). Dove's adoption fee has been sponsored by one of our amazing followers! UTD on vaccines, on preventatives, and microchipped.
