He tested NEG for heartworms, has been treated for parasites and started on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Hi, I’m Savoy, a 9 month-old hound mix weighing about 32 pounds. I get along well with other dogs and cats, and while we’re still unsure about kids, I’m known for being gentle, affectionate, and treat motivated. I can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, my sweet and easygoing personality really shines. I came in with some serious injuries and had surgery to clean and stitch a deep wound near my abdomen and under my ear. Whatever happened before I arrived, I handled it all with incredible patience and kindness. I’m fully on the mend now and ready for a loving home where I can feel safe, cared for, and finally just be a happy puppy again.
