We call her Orphan Annie since we found her abandoned on a hiking trail. Sort of amazing now that we have gotten to know her and that she stayed in one place long enough to be rescued.Annie is probably a Stubby Tail Cattle Dog, very much an Australian Cattle Dog with an emphasis on being active and engaged. Annie is typical of the herding breed, meant to nip at others to direct where to go. For this reason, she would not be good in a home with young children and is the kind of girl who needs a job.Annie loves being active and into everything. She usually has two speeds, sleeping, and full blast; unless she is one-on-one with her human when she is totally engaged. She is smart and would be a terrific girl to train for just about any high activity - herding, agility, anything that keeps her thinking and able to get praise for doing the right thing.This beautiful, compact girl will give back 200 percent and is capable of complex tasks; high endurance and willingness to please. Beef is 10 months old and 35-40 lbs. as of August 2026. His owner took him in from a friend but can no longer keep him. Now Beef is hoping that his forever family is out there waiting to love him. Margot and her sister were picked up as strays. Luckily, someone found them before they starved or were killed. She and her sister, Amber, have been together their entire lives, so we would love to see them adopted together, if possible.Both girls are athletic, but Margot so much that she can jump and climb over the fences at her foster home to go where she pleases. Luckily, she stays on her property and goes into different areas to play with the other dogs or her foster family. Her foster has not worked on trying to keep her contained, but this would be a concern until she could adjust to her new home; she does have excellent recall. We have a portable containment system to send with her for someone willing to work with that training.Margot lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone, including the livestock rescues. She has good house manners, is crate trained, and is working on walking on a leash.She is fully vetted - current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartwormprevention.

We rescued Mom while she was pregnant. She had a litter of eight puppies, but two still remain without loving homes. Tulip is a very energetic pup. She loves to run and would do well with a family that has a large backyard. She has shown an interest in swimming and will occasionally get in the water to play. She enjoys playing with her siblings and loves attention. She has been out of the house a few times and does well in new places and around new people, but she still needs leash training. She knows how to sit and lie down, and we are currently working on “stay” and “leave it.” She has received all of her puppy vaccines and is up to date on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.
