Story
We were definitely surprised by Roxie’s DNA results! According to Wisdom Panel, she is 45% Australian Cattle Dog, 23% American Pit Bull Terrier, 13% Bloodhound, 12% American Staffordshire Terrier, 3% Rottweiler, 2% Bulldog, and 1% Labrador Retriever. Roxie will be 12 weeks old on Saturday and weighs around 20 lbs. She is estimated to weigh between 35-62 lbs when full grown. She’s doing great with potty training and kennel training, though she much prefers being out with her foster family when someone is home. Roxie loves to cuddle and play with her canine foster siblings. While she enjoys having canine friends, she would also do just fine as an only dog as long as she has plenty of toys and people to love on her. She is ready to find her person or family! Roxie loves kids, does great with other dogs, and has no issues with cats. If you would like to add Roxie to your family, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2648910##

Story
Meet Matrix! He is an approximately 1 year old, male, Heeler/Cattle Dog mix. He was found stray and never reclaimed at the shelter by his owner but is now safe and sound in foster care while he waits for his forever home.   He enjoys the company of people and appears to get along with other dogs. He's working on learning how to walk on a leash, house training and basic commands. He is full of loving energy and has a silly boy attitude! If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure they get along. Matrix would do best in a calm low key home. Matrix is learning what it means to be in a loving and caring home.  He is neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines and heartworm negative. If you are interested in providing a loving home for Matrix, please apply online we'll be in touch. His adoption fee is $275.  Adoption Application - Legacy Humane SocietyWe do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
We call her Orphan Annie since we found her abandoned on a hiking trail. Sort of amazing now that we have gotten to know her and that she stayed in one place long enough to be rescued.Annie is probably a Stubby Tail Cattle Dog, very much an Australian Cattle Dog with an emphasis on being active and engaged. Annie is typical of the herding breed, meant to nip at others to direct where to go. For this reason, she would not be good in a home with young children and is the kind of girl who needs a job.Annie loves being active and into everything. She usually has two speeds, sleeping, and full blast; unless she is one-on-one with her human when she is totally engaged. She is smart and would be a terrific girl to train for just about any high activity - herding, agility, anything that keeps her thinking and able to get praise for doing the right thing. This beautiful, compact girl will give back 200 percent and is capable of complex tasks; high endurance and willingness to please. If you need a working companion to be part of your everyday life you could not find a better match. She is fully vetted, microchipped, spayed, and current with her flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Kiki is a love bug, wants to be devoted to her human(s), can be either one person or a family, she has enough love and devotion for her forever home, whatever that might look like. She lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone, but given the chance, she will choose to be with her human. She is crate- and house-trained, does great on a leash, and loves to go for rides. Though she is still a youngster, Kiki is the most laid-back Cattle Dog you could hope to meet while still having the total engagement and desire to please.Kiki is fully vetted - current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartwormprevention.

Story
Meet Boone, an 1 year old Blue Heeler with oversized ears, a speckled blue-gray coat, and a brain that’s always one step ahead. He entered the shelter alongside his three siblings, unsure of people and clearly unfamiliar with the gentle world waiting for him. Boone is the thinker of the group—quietly observing, sizing things up, and then surprising you with sudden bursts of playful energy once he feels comfortable. He’s got a soft, curious way about him and a growing love for toys, zoomies, and anything that lets him stretch those clever Heeler instincts. While he’s still warming up to new experiences, Boone is discovering that kindness feels pretty amazing—and he’s learning to lean into it. With a little time and a lot of love, Boone is ready to leave his timid beginnings behind and step into a future full of trust, fun, and forever-family adventures. The adoption fee for this pet is $75. This cost includes spay/neuter, microchip, and all vaccines.February 10, 2026, 6:44 pm
