Story
Allow me to introduce myself, I'm a charming 3-month-old female heeler/terrier mix. I've already been neutered and am up-to-date on all my shots. People often tell me I'm adorable and smart, and I must say, I agree with them! I'm 99% potty trained and have mastered the doggie door. Walking on a leash is a breeze for me, as we go for walks a couple of times a day. I've already learned to sit and am busy mastering other commands. I'm a friendly pup with a touch of sass, and I absolutely love playing in water, especially trying to catch it as it comes out of the hose. Food is my passion, and I'm always on the lookout for it – treats are my ultimate motivation, and I'll do anything for a yummy treat! I adore meeting new people and can't wait to make friends with other dogs. I get along splendidly with my foster brother, who's bigger than me, but I don't mind at all – I'm smarter and faster! I sleep in my crate every night and will whine to let you know if I need to go out during the night. Cuddles are my favorite, so you can hold me and snuggle with me as much as you like. I'm learning how to play fetch and am crate trained. I spend time there when my foster mom is working or out of the house. I'm currently in my chewing stage, so I need plenty of things to chew on until I get through the teething process. In the evenings, I get the zoomies, and I challenge anyone to try and catch me – it's so much fun! I'm eagerly looking for a family to love and cherish as much as they will love and cherish me. Car rides are great, and I absolutely adore going for walks. Spending time in the yard and playing outside are some of my favorite activities. But most of all, I love snuggling and can't wait for those moments of warmth and affection. I'm ready to find my forever home and share all my love and loyalty with you. Let's embark on this wonderful journey together! Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application or fill out the application on our website. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the How it Works page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.**

Story
Randall from the Monsters Inc Litter joined the rescue just a week and a half ago, and his foster family reports that he’s picking up on everything so quickly! This smart little guy is already kennel trained (he caught on night 1), and while he doesn’t alert his foster family when he needs to go out, he does great as long as he’s taken out regularly. Now that he has adjusted to his foster home, he is officially available for adoption! Randall is a very sweet and gentle boy. He is wonderful with everyone he meets and loves other dogs. He recently learned how to hop up on the couch and is becoming quite the cuddle bug with his foster family. His favorite things to do are play with other dogs and chew on a bone independently. Randall is a 15 week old Australian Cattle Dog mix who weighs 19.5 lbs. Due to his breed, we will not be placing him in an apartment or with children under the age of 10. If you’re interested in making this precious boy part of your family, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2446402##

Story
We call her Orphan Annie since we found her abandoned on a hiking trail. Sort of amazing now that we have gotten to know her and that she stayed in one place long enough to be rescued.Annie is probably a Stubby Tail Cattle Dog, very much an Australian Cattle Dog with an emphasis on being active and engaged. Annie is typical of the herding breed, meant to nip at others to direct where to go. For this reason, she would not be good in a home with young children and is the kind of girl who needs a job.Annie loves being active and into everything. She usually has two speeds, sleeping, and full blast; unless she is one-on-one with her human when she is totally engaged. She is smart and would be a terrific girl to train for just about any high activity - herding, agility, anything that keeps her thinking and able to get praise for doing the right thing. This beautiful, compact girl will give back 200 percent and is capable of complex tasks; high endurance and willingness to please. If you need a working companion to be part of your everyday life you could not find a better match. She is fully vetted, microchipped, spayed, and current with her flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
