Story
Koda is a sweet and loving Australian Cattle Dog with a heart as big as her smile. She adores people and is happiest when she's close to her humans, soaking up affection and offering loyal companionship in return. Koda’s gentle nature and soulful eyes make her impossible not to fall in love with. Koda is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. She’ll need to be on strict crate rest and continue her care in a calm, quiet home. While this means no roughhousing or long walks for now, she’s more than content just being by your side, getting belly rubs and watching the world go by. Koda is ready to begin the next chapter of her life with a loving family who will help her heal and give her the care she deserves. Could that be you?

Australian Cattle Dog Mixed Breed (Medium)

Female, 2 yrs 1 mo
Rocky Mount, VA
Size
(when grown) -
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
From her foster mom: Miss Busy Bee! She is a true born leader! She’s confident, independent, and a watcher! She loves playing with other dogs and even though she lives with cats and does well with them don’t expect her to give them a moment of her energy! 100% will ignore a cat! 😂 She’s super smart and highly trained! She’s potty trained, crate trained (must have sturdy crate though) but does fantastic out of the kennel as well, she doesn’t tear up if left out! She has great food manners, good recall skills, knows her basic obedience commands (sit, off, leave it) and she’ll respect your boundaries if you don’t like cuddles but if you do she’ll snuggly till the end of time she would be best suited in a moderate/high active home!
