Story
Meet Iggy! Are you looking for a dog who`s equal parts playful sidekick and snuggly lap buddy? Meet Iggy — our energetic goofball with a heart of gold and a nose for fun! This handsome young guy loves to play, especially with other dogs! Whether it’s a game of chase in the yard or a wrestling match with a buddy, Iggy is always ready to party. But once the fun winds down, he’s all about curling up with his favorite humans for some well-earned cuddle time. Iggy is clever, loyal, and always up for adventure — but there`s just one quirky rule: no soft toys or blankets, please! Iggy’s inner cattle dog comes out, and those items don’t stand a chance. Stick to durable toys, tug ropes, or interactive games, and he’ll be thrilled. He is one smart cookie and will do best with a family who has similar herding breed experience; work his brain and you`ve got a bestie for life!If you`re looking for a playful, affectionate, and people-loving pup who gets along great with other dogs and loves being part of the action, Iggy might just be your perfect match.Come meet Iggy — he`s ready to herd your heart right into his!If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. Story
Hello! I am Raven! I am so beautiful, just check out my awesome spots. I am your typical cattle dog mix: very smart, protective, and loyal for sure. I came here as a stray, so not much is known about my past and the staff/volunteers are still getting to know me and all my quirks. I will be happiest in a family who loves toys, enjoys playing with me, and taking me on awesome walks outside (or maybe have a fenced yard for me to zoom in!) If you know cattle dog breeds, then you already know a good bit about me and my personality, but I would love to meet you and tell you all about myself too. Come on down today! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Meet Gretle (aka Liza Jean) This adorable little masked bandit will steal your heart and your blanket- and no she is NOT wearing a mask! That is her gorgeous coloring!! She's so full of love and energy in an adorable little package. Her foster mom says, "She's been an amazing playmate for our dog! She will play hard and love hard. She just seems to know when I need extra love- I have had some medical issues lately so TONS of cuddles from this wonderful pup. It's not a typical kind of cuddle, she has her OWN love language. The little darling will snuggle her head on me with her butt in the air- the whole cuddle session. When she's satisfied she's given enough love, she'll flop down asking for her OWN belly rubs. This kiddo can't get enough of em. She's gotten along with my dogs and with supervision she's learning to be ok with my cats. We're still working on the cats part. She just so so so wants to have her own family who will play with her, let her cuddle them and then give her the celebratory belly rubs. Not TOO much to ask for this very smart and very happy girl!" Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Rusty, Sweet neutered male, is a bit shy at first but warms up to people quickly. Rusty plays well with other dogs and is curious about cats. He lives in a home with five cats, 2 dogs and a 7 year old. He loves playing fetch with the ball and is working on bringing it back and dropping the ball. Rusty does well in his kennel at night, and when no one is home. He uses a dog door and is house trained. Rusty likes to go on walks however it is best to go early in the morning or late in the day when there is not a lot of traffic or people. He gets scared by the cars. And since we have no idea what kind f life he had before he was saved by the rescue, it is just something he needs practice and confidence building ;) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
