Rusty, Sweet neutered male, is a bit shy at first but warms up to people quickly. Rusty plays well with other dogs and is curious about cats. He lives in a home with five cats, 2 dogs and a 7 year old. He loves playing fetch with the ball and is working on bringing it back and dropping the ball. Rusty does well in his kennel at night, and when no one is home. He uses a dog door and is house trained. Rusty likes to go on walks however it is best to go early in the morning or late in the day when there is not a lot of traffic or people. He gets scared by the cars. And since we have no idea what kind f life he had before he was saved by the rescue, it is just something he needs practice and confidence building ;) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

She's so full of love and energy in an adorable little package. Her foster mom says, "She's been an amazing playmate for our dog! She will play hard and love hard. She just seems to know when I need extra love- I have had some medical issues lately so TONS of cuddles from this wonderful pup. It's not a typical kind of cuddle, she has her OWN love language. The little darling will snuggle her head on me with her butt in the air- the whole cuddle session. When she's satisfied she's given enough love, she'll flop down asking for her OWN belly rubs. This kiddo can't get enough of em. She's gotten along with my dogs and with supervision she's learning to be ok with my cats. We're still working on the cats part. She just so so so wants to have her own family who will play with her, let her cuddle them and then give her the celebratory belly rubs. Not TOO much to ask for this very smart and very happy girl!" So SUSHI??? What kind of name is that???? A pretty good one for me ;) Why?? Because I am kind of like a piece of sushi that you can make and eat in many different ways! Sushi is about using the BEST part of the fish, rolled with sticky (and sweet) rice and other kinds of "oceanworthy" things that make it unique and tasty!! THAT IS ME!! So, now that that is out of the way..... I am just a special part of the fish, NO fishy taste! Smart and sweet and playful and VERY UNIQUE! I was found 'lingering' by the rescue in the heat of August, scared and lost and alone..... no one could see my real value, until I was saved!!!
