Story
Meet Winnie! This sweet, shy girl may take a little time to feel safe, but once she does, her true personality shines bright. She’s a gentle soul with a playful streak and a silly side that will have you smiling every day. Winnie loves quiet moments of affection as much as she loves little bursts of fun, like chasing a toy or doing a happy wiggle dance when she’s excited. She’s very food motivated, which makes learning new things and practicing her manners a fun game. While she may need a moment to warm up in new spaces or with new people, her curious, playful, and charming personality quickly comes out once she feels safe. She’ll thrive in a patient, loving home that understands her need for a little extra time to build trust. Once she’s comfortable, Winnie can be a little mischievous, a lot silly, and 100% lovable, a pup who will shower her family with affection, playful antics, and endless entertainment. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Winnie is sure to blossom into a delightful companion who will fill her forever home with laughter, cuddles, and her special brand of puppy charm.

Story
Meet Luke. He is a chihuahua/heeler mix around 7 months old. He is very shy around new people but latched onto me as foster mom right away. He will pick a person and slowly learn to let others love him too. He really started to show himself after 3 weeks so patience is key. He loves to play with his foster sister so if you have other dogs he will fit right in. He does sleep in his crate at night but has also slept in bed. He does go in his crate when nobody is home. He potty trained very quickly. He also does know sit. He is such a sweetheart and cuddle buddy once he gets comfortable.

Story
If you’re a “cat person”… you might just fall in love with this dog. 💛 Waylon is the kind of pup who stops you mid-scroll with his handsome looks—but it’s his quiet courage and unique personality that truly make him unforgettable. This sensitive boy is still learning that the world is safe. Loud noises, busy homes, and unpredictable environments can overwhelm him, so he’s searching for a calm, peaceful home where he can finally relax and just be. Waylon isn’t your typical Velcro dog—and that’s part of his charm. He’s wonderfully cat-like in the best way: independent, observant, and thoughtful. He’ll come to you when he’s ready, ask for affection on his terms, and let you know when he’s had enough. Those moments of connection? They feel extra special because they’re earned. 🐾 He would thrive with a confident canine companion to help show him the ropes and build his confidence. With the right dog and a patient human, Waylon is already making beautiful progress—choosing curiosity over fear, allowing more gentle interactions, and getting braver by the day. Waylon isn’t the life-of-the-party type—but he is the kind of dog who forms a deep, meaningful bond with his person. The kind of connection that makes every small win feel huge. ✨

Sweet Ella is learning to trust 💜 For many dogs, a belly-up pose is just another way to relax—but for Ella, it means so much more. When she came to us at just 5 months old, she had some trust issues. Getting to this point has been a journey filled with patience, love, and small, meaningful victories. Now, every time she rolls onto her back, it’s a beautiful sign of the trust she’s built and the courage she’s found. It’s a reminder of how far she’s come—and how bright her future can be. We’re so grateful to be part of her journey.
