SHYA is a 1 year 3 month old Australian Kelpie, weighing about 28lbs. She was lost and taken to an overcrowded shelter where she was not claimed in time and was due to be euthanized, but was saved by an emergency foster at the last minute. She now needs her forever home as soon as possible. Shya is very sweet and loving, but a bit shy, timid and scared (non-aggressive, submissive), and needs preferably a female human with a little time and patience to help her learn to trust again. She settled into her foster home within a couple of hours, and is very playful and affectionate with her foster mom. She loves cuddles and belly rubs! Shya does suffer from some separation anxiety, and will need to be helped through this. Shya gets on well with other dogs. Submissive and cautious at first, she loves to chase and be chased by small dogs, or dogs her own size. Wrestling is also great fun! She is good with large, chill dogs, but scared of boisterous dogs, or dogs that bark continually. SHYA is fully housebroken, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is smart, with a lovely temperament, and will make a wonderful addition to a loving person’s life. Buster was rescued as a tiny pup from a side walk in South Central. He's all grown up now at a perfect medium size. He LOOOOVES to play with other dogs and toys. 2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##
