Meet Eloise! She is a sweet, gentle 1 year old Kelpie mix girl and weighs about 40 lbs. She has a very calm, soft presence who doesn't ask for too much. She can be a little reserved when you first meet her, but once she opens up, she is the sweetest loyal girl who will stick to your side through thick and thin. She gets along well with other dogs and walks well on a leash. The nature of rescuing animals doesn't allow us to always know if an animal is fully housebroken. All of our dogs are kept safe in kennels and its not easy to fully confirm if they are housebroken. But they are all kennel trained and can be housebroken very quickly. If an animal is posted, they are VERY likely available. Please fill out an adoption application to get the best chance at being considered rather than contacting directly. Digby’s a 15 year old puppy. He’s got a massive heart in a small package. Despite his advanced age and occasional dexterous challenges, Digby can walk for hours and handles hikes with ease. He’s an absolute cuddle bug and massive sweetheart.He does struggle with separation anxiety, but this only manifests problematically on extended absences. If you do leave him for extended trips he will need to be boarded or sat since he’s used to spending his nights with people.

He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##
