Patches is just about perfect. He's three years old and fully grown at 33 pounds. He is loved by everyone he meets. He was terrified at the shelter and a few not good but great samaritans took him out of the clanging loud overcrowded shelter and brought him outside where he transformed into a wonderful adorable loving fun dog .. the kind of dog who makes the world's best companion and the kind of dog you raise your kids with. He was scheduled to die and Reunion Rescue put a rescue hold on him. We didn't have a cent in the bank and had just pulled Pumpkin another sweetheart pittie. He was a leap of faith because we KNEW he was a perfect dog and that perfect home is out there waiting for him. This smart social young lady is looking for her forever home. Emmy is guessed to be a young (~5 months) Australian Shepherd mix. She was found as a stray sleeping on someone’s porch in Modesto. She was not claimed through social media and fliers and was turned over to rescue. Someone obviously spent quality time with this well-mannered young lady. She walks well on a leash, is quickly learning to sit, and takes her treats gently. She sleeps quietly in her crate inside during the night. Emmy weighs 40 pounds. Her adult weight is unknown. Emmy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped (medical records available). Emmy is accustomed to being inside and is housebroken (of course she would need to learn the rules at your house.) She delights in walks. Emmy is very tolerant when being hugged and brushed. Emmy loves people and other dogs. She enjoys cuddling on a lap or just chilling next to her humans. She is a great traveler and eagerly loads herself in the vehicle. Emmy is confident playful, living happily in her foster home with other dogs. She can also be calm, enjoying laying on a dog bed inside or watch her foster dad in his workshop. It is unknown if Emmy gets along with cats, however she does not show a prey drive when introduced to wildlife such as deer and rabbits.
