So I rescued this dog from the forest he was malnourished and looking for food! I obliged and started looking for his owner. For months I made posts, checked with locals, everything. So to no avail I kept him for what's been 6 years now I'm guessing he was close to a year old when I found him. Got him neutered and shots up to date and he has been one of the most amazing and friendly dogs. Unfortunately life has changed for me and I don't have the time or home that he requires. This decision is one that I hate to make as he really is a great dog! After some research I believe his breed to be Mcknabb a great tree or stock dog with great potential for a rancher or hunter but also just a great family dog as well! I just want him to have the life I provided for him these last 6 years and to know he will be in a loving nurturing environment. Australian Kelpie is a possible mix breed.. but this dog has energy and loves to fetch the ball and do commands. He knows sit, lay down, and paw.

Hello! Meet Lucy, a 7 month old kelpie mix. She's so friendly and sweet. She loves to play and she's a fast learner and very treat motivated. She is dog social, but still learning how to interact with other dogs. Staff believe that with a slow introduction that she could live with another dog in the home. She's a high energy teenager who needs someone who will be able to keep up with her energetic lifestyle. Walks and fetch - please!! This is what he lives for! Koda would be GREAT in a 1-2 person home with someone who works from home with no kids. He gets very anxious about staying alone and always likes to be with his person. He s 69 pounds of love and brilliance and enjoys riding in the car for any amount of time, long walks, fetch and swimming in the river. He has trouble getting shots at the vet and so we are overdue. Koda has had 5 week behavioral training at Ridgeside K-9 in April 2025 and is a quick learner. He really lives for playing fetch with a stick or a ball but gets snippy with the vet and sometimes ( more often lately) with getting put into his crate

Peppe was born sometime early August of 2017. He was an indoor dog his 1st year and was potty trained. Peppe loves going on walks, playing with toys, and does well in secluded areas. He does however bark at bikes, people and animals that walk/run past him. While on walks Peppe is protective, he can come off as too interested and pushy at first. When meeting new people he is a little cautious but does great if introduced correctly and rewarded with food. Peppe likes to play soccer, tug-a-war, and chase squeaky balls. In the summer Peppe loves water and playing in the kiddy pool. I have owned ducks and chickens and he does do well with them. My sister has a female pit bull terrier who is very vocal when it comes to playing and they do great with each other. Peppe is not food aggressive, he can be pet while he is eating.

Cali is an approximately 6 year old girl who is looking for her forever home! She is a playful, silly girl who also is incredibly cute! If she looks a little goofy while walking or excited, it`s because she has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, also referred to as CH. It isn`t painful, contagious, and it won`t progress (get worse). It just means her fine motor skills, coordination, and her sense of balance are effected. With a little extra TLC and padding in her forever home, animals with CH can live a normal life expectancy! If you have any questions about Cali or CH please feel free to ask one of our adoption counselors!I don’t have a history with dogs. I may do well with a slow introduction to new dogs.I don’t have a history with cats. I may do well with them with a slow introduction.I don’t have a history with children but I may do well with them.
