She received the eye surgery she needed, was showered with love, patience, and comfort, and even formed an unlikely best friendship with a rehabilitating chicken. Somewhere along the way, Dorothy discovered the fountain of youth — and it turns out, it’s love. Now thriving, happy, and full of personality, Dorothy may not be a spring chicken… but she sure acts like one.
