We adopted Bella from the Humane Society when she was four months old, and she has grown into a sweet, clever, and energetic dog. I’m looking for a home that can give her the care she truly needs including plenty of exercise, consistent routines, and social time with other dogs. Bella can be a little skittish at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes a very affectionate, clingy companion. She is extremely smart and learns quickly when someone gives her patience and guidance. She would thrive with an active family or someone familiar with working or high-energy breeds. I want to make sure she goes to a safe, stable, and loving home.

2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##

Ceasar is a 15mth old altered male kelpie mix Ceasar Hey, I’m Ceasar. I’ll be real with you — I’m still figuring this whole “new people” thing out. Meeting strangers makes me nervous, and if I feel cornered, I might snap. But here’s the thing: once I get to know you and trust you, my softer side comes out, and I can relax and be myself. Due to an upcoming move and the sale of our home, we urgently need a foster placement for this dog. We have been helping care for them for several years after our daughter was unable to do so because of personal circumstances. We’ve done everything we can, but time has run out and we need help as soon as possible. Shanka (roughly 4 yrs old and 25lbs) is alert and curious, with a bright personality and an athletic build. He enjoys being aware of his surroundings and does well with routine and gentle guidance. He would thrive in a home that can offer stability, daily movement, and reassurance. Shanka deserves stability and kindness, and fostering him would give him chance to land safely while a permanent solution is found. AN ACTIVE & FUN FELLOW:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 33 lbs. Hello – I’m Cody!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I’ve been soaking up the love ever since!  As much as I love the great volunteers, I am ready to meet my new family and start my ‘happily ever after’ with them!  So, come meet me soon!  I spent some time in the prison/foster training program and learned a lot!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I was friendly with them. If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals.  / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over, as I am pretty strong and active. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a busy guy with a friendly demeanor.  In fact, I’ve heard the volunteers describe me as ‘a strong and lovable guy with a sweet nature’.  I’ll either charm you with my handsome good looks or delight you with my contagious playfulness!  Though I’m quite energetic, I did calm down for my shelter bath and the great rubs and pets that came with that.  I have been a bit playfully mouthy and wiggly during leashing at the shelter and leave my kennel raring to go, so be ready for my enthusiasm, right out of the gate.  I’m just so happy to be out and about with the volunteers!  The volunteers say that I do the most adorable head tilts when I hear certain sounds, like whistling – so cute!  Affectionate and fun, I’m ready to bring lots of fun and adventure to my new home! / My energy level is 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I look forward to learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  I’ve mastered the ‘sit’, ‘come’, ‘down’, and ‘drop it’ commands as well as how to utilize proper door etiquette.  I can’t wait to learn more!  Check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts, though I don’t want to spend a lot of time in my crate. / I've been having just a few accidents on the shelter schedule, so continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I LOVE being petted and will happily spend time hanging out with a volunteer on the front bench after my walks – collecting all the tummy scratches you wish to give!  I’m also quite treat motivated, so have those handy when you want my undivided attention – lol.  I recently went on a sunset hike with a volunteer, enjoying the exercise and happily rewarding them with plenty of kisses along the way.  Toys get my attention as well, so let’s PLAY! / I can’t think of any real dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving furever family to have fun with!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  January 23, 2026, 6:46 am
